Better charge into battle: Rohirrim Charge charge (Return of the King) or Avengers charge (Endgame)?
Don't even compare a scene that miraculously had all the major female characters come together on the battlefield for a cool shot to one of the greatest speeches delivered in cinema history.
To be fair, that is not even the most ridiculous scene in Endgame
Ironman, Thor and Captain America somehow come together while other avengers are stuck in building, All the original avengers survive the snap, Captain America(Gary Stu) fighting Thanos, shittiest movie ever
Nothing in shitty Endgame compares to epic line by Eowyn
I AM NO MAN!
Both scenes are probably on the same level of epic.
For LOTR, the epic part is the speech and the charge. Really makes you want to jump in and fight with them. But for Avengers, the epic part is the entire MCU coming together.
So to answer the topic adequately, LOTR.
The way they shoehorned all the characters in that Avengers charging scene was pretty ugly to be honest.
Ride for ruin and the world's ending!
Endgame
I like Lotr but it seems all their fans are painfully biased and don’t ever vote against it. It seems Lotr fans make TDK fanboys seem tame.
Endgame felt more epic and awesome to me.
There is so much more emotion in the Rohirrim Charge. The music, the speech, the sense of dread and awe as the horses charge forward, ready to give their lives with full knowledge that they will almost definitely die.
There is no comparison. Endgame's final battle was eye catching and it was cool seeing everyone together to fight Thanos, but it didn't make me feel the swell of emotions that the Ride to Ruin made me feel.
Endgame curb-stomps...the LotR's charge was boring af, I felt no emotion whatsoever it's just a bunch of people trotting on their horses, constant close-ups of a squeaky kid, who's making this scene painfully cringy (at-least that cheesy scene of the MCU women was only on for a few seconds and then they got blasted away moments later.) and the enemy getting scared and trying to run away before the fight even starts.
But that's my opinion, to each his own...

The hell are you talking about? Do you mean Meriadoc Brandybuck, the hobbit who was riding with Eowyn? He's an adult male and is played by one, his voice was in no way "squeaky."
And how the hell was it cringey? It was him giving a battle cry as he fights in one of his first battles against hopeless odds. The only thing cringey here is your comment.
I think this is the first MCU vs LotR thread where I vote MCU. That charge was awesome.
This. It was too epic.

Oh yeah you are right that is one of the hobbits I thought it was a kid because of the squeaky noises it was making...anyways I see that my statement "But that's my opinion, to each his own" was completely lost on you, and you decided you would rather get triggered than ignore an opinion you disagree with and was not directed at you.

Except he never made "squeaky" noises. Your opinion has no bearing on the pitch of an actor's voice.
Something being "your opinion" doesn't insulate it from criticism.
For me, the "Avengers Assemble" scene was honestly a lot more rousing and exciting. Return of the King is probably a better movie than Endgame though.
Rohan's charge of course
Then of course the Mumakil charge and Ghost charge right after are awesome as well
LOTR.
I recently rewatched both of these scenes. And while they are both phenomenal scenes, the charge of the Rohirrim gave me chills. Hearing those horns, seeing all the horses come over the hill and Theodens speech...holy shit its so good.
LOTR enormously spitstomps anything related to the ENTIRE MCU. Haven't you already made a thread for this?
@vishop_: Same thread.
