I actually can't choose, they're my two favorite characters from ATLA and i know id feel guilty voting for either over the other

Azula by far, she's so amazing, ruthless, smart, powerful and yet complex, fragile and tragic at the same time.

One of the best characters in Avatarverse and my favorite antagonist from the franchise.

You see, this is complicated because they are two completely different style of characters. Azula is a wonderful and complicated villain, while Katara is a great hero that has an amazing growth arc.

I personally can't compare them on who is better except for my own personal preference on personality....which is Azula

I really like Katara, and have honestly related to her in a sense, but I've always just found Azula so fascinating. One of my very favorite characters of all time, and she's just so complex.

Azula by a hair. These two are in the top 3 best written TLA characters for me.
