Better CBM: Endgame or Joker ??

The biggest disappointment in movie history for me versus one of the best movies I've seen recently.

Joker by a country mile.

Endgame is a fun popcorn culmination movie. It did its job well enough, while Joker blew it out of the park at being a dark gritty take on the most classic villain in cb history.

Well, it can't be Endgame, it was so so.

Joker was better written, Endgame was a historic event. Both were special in their own ways.

Endgame fully embraces being a CBM while Joker desperately wants to be an Scorsese film.

It depends on what you mean by "better CBM".

Better CBM --> Endgame

Better Movie --> Joker

LOL Joker isn't a CMB, I'm sorry I didn't know a CMB is it's own genre? Just because there's little action and no super powers in the movie, it still features a comic book character therefor a comic book movie.

Joker, and this is coming from someone that absolutely adored Endgame.

I didn't think any film this year could top Endgame, but Joker has proved me wrong.

Lol at any "It's not a CBM" comments. One could make the case that this is not a "superhero" movie, but it is based on comic books (albeit loosely) so yes, it is a CBM.

I swear, when this movie comes out on DVD....

I can’t judge Joker due to not seeing it in theater, but people shouldn’t sleep on Endgame.

I remember I saw posts about RDJ deserving an Oscar for his Endgame role, I chuckled then and I chuckle now.

Both had long ass boring middle parts, and epic endings that's about it

for me I'd say it's the same because I'm a huge Cap fan and a huge Batman fan, so seeing Steve lift Mjionir and yelling Avengers Assemble is the same as seeing the epic buildup to how Bruce's parents die (LOL sorry Bruce)

I didn't like Joker that much, but Endgame was a letdown.

I respect Joker. I believe it is a well crafted film, if not a bit predictable, but now that I have seen it I don't have much of a desire to see it again. I don't know if that means it's better or worse than Endgame which I have seen 3 times now. I don't think I developed any sort of attachment to the Joker movie, so while I can agree that it is well structured and the performances are excellent, I whole thing left me kind of indifferent. My Endgame "high" has certainly diminished since I originally saw it, but chances are I will see it again for certain scenes I enjoyed. Again, that doesn't mean it's better or worse than Joker in my opinion. So, which one is better is not as clearly defined for me as for some here.

Now, people like Scorsese et FFC would say that CBMs are not real movies so...

Whatever it is, Joker is the most memorable movie.

It's based on characters from a comic book. That is the definition of a CBM. You can say it's a very unorthodox CBM, but it's a CBM nonetheless.

The Joker is a superior film, Endgame is more fun to watch.

A better movie as a whole? Joker by a mile.

A better CBM movie? Endgame.
