Honestly, I'm gonna have to go with Elfman's by a hair. It always sends shivers down my spine whenever I hear it.

Meh, if there is anything aside from worldbuilding, and Joker that I find in Batman' 89 was just dumb.

You can really see the influence TDK's theme had on the score of Arkham City. But 1989's theme was the template for Shirley Walker's score for Batman TAS. I'll call this one a tie

This is tough. The 1989 theme is more iconic, but I think I like The Dark Knight theme a little more.

Danny Elfman's Batman Theme in a HARD HARD STOMP. Can't believe this is even a question and can't believe The Dark Knight is winning.

I'm sorry but if you don't vote for Elfman's Batman theme, you're just lying.

TBH, I understand why people love the Elfman theme, and I think it works really well within Burton's take on Batman, but I'd pick Zimmer's score every single time. I just think it's so much better.

The Dark Knight theme is more "epic", the Batman theme is more... shall we say "classic"? I prefer TDK

Danny Elfman's Batman theme is just what I hear when I think of Batman lol. It might be really old, but it's a classic. Nothing wrong with The Dark Knight one, I just prefer the latter.

The classic. All this comparison does is remind me that, while it made for good films, Nolan's take on the Batman never felt like it was that character.
