Return of the King of course.
1. Return of the King (duh!)
2. The Good, The Bad and the Ugly
3. Revenge of the Sith (I know I know, guess I'm too nostalgic)
4. Infinity War
5. War for the Planet of the Apes
It's been 20 years and Return of the King is still the GOAT.
In no particular order,
I think I'll vote At World's End since I imagine more people are gonna be voting for the Return movies, and I'd like to at least see it acknowledged on such a long list.
Return of the King of course.
Nice! What are both your favorite scenes and characters?
If it was on here I would pick Avengers Infinity War.
Thanks. Who do you think is the best MCU character?

You think it's even better than the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly?
I actually thought that's the best, but I'm happy to see Return of the King get the crown.
In regards to Revenge of the Sith, I think it's my favorite 3rd movie of all time!
1) Return of the King
2) The Last Crusade
3) Return of the Jedi
4) Back to the Future Part III
5) The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
6) STAR TREK: The Search for Spock
7) Die Hard: With A Vengeance
8) The Bourne Ultimatum
9) Once Upon A Time in Mexico
10) The Dark Knight Rises
…is my all-time top ten 3rd movie list
@infinitehope: That's a tough question since there are a lot of great scenes and characters, but I'd say the Black Gate battle would be my favourite scene. As for character, I can't pick between Aragorn and Sam.
@infinitehope: A lot of the conflict tension of the movie comes from Ironman.
Captain America is my favorite and arguably the best character but he doesn’t have that much to do in this movie.
Thor is definitely at his best. It’s the most serious version of post-Ragnorok Thor. As I said like a year ago they lean into making the comedic elements of the character be a way for him to brush off trauma.
Thanos is the best marvel movie villain. In general with powerful characters (and in this case he’s compared to “inevitability”) you want to make the character vulnerable so they don’t feel as distant.
And one thing that makes it work as an experience is that because it has so many Protagonist (and all the deaths in the opening scene,) it gives you the impression that several protagonists could die in the middle of the movie (I heard Game of Thrones is also like that,) which adds an extra layer of intensity to the intensely filmed action.

I don't blame you. That's a tough choice between Aragorn and Sam.
The Black Gate scene is incredible.
This is one of the greatest speeches imo:
@zafros13: Really appreciate your thoughtful response. Thank you!
@mazahs117: Thanks for the list! Ah man, I forgot about Star Trek. I've never seen the Search for Spock but I would have included it.
If it was on here I would pick Avengers Infinity War.
Infinity War being higher than The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly has to be a joke
@brogokudestroys: I thought the climax was great. There was really nothing else that stood out to me.
I was bored watching it because it was very long, everyone was a selfish person that I didn’t connect with so it didn’t have stakes, it was not intellectually provoking or introspective, I did not care about the mini-arcs, my eyes were annoyed by how high the contrast was.

The character development of the nameless protagonist, the pacing, the brilliant cinematography, the god tier score, the character nuances and dynamics that form throughout the movie, the movie is brilliant from start to finish. The climax is easily the best part of the movie, but the rest is still excellent.
@brogokudestroys: “The character development of the nameless protagonist,”
It felt kind of emotionally hollow to me.
His character arc would be him deciding to split the cash, don’t remember what propelled it. A Reddit user said it was seeing the war around him.
Recently I watched Groundhog Day for the first time. Great movie, definitely does better in character development. https://youtube.com/shorts/Xw_sKenA4XQ?feature=shared
“character nuances and dynamics that form throughout the movie”
Wasn’t noticing that.

Yeah, it's cause he saw the war around him and realized the value of life. This can be seen with his interactions with the wounded soldier. It pretty much shows the difference between Tuco, the mc, and Angel Eyes.

That's on you lol. Even on a directional standpoint, I would rather take the older look of the movie over the bland aesthetic of Infinity War
