Every week, we take a look at some of the most bizarre, exciting, and downright unique things to happen in comics. Check out our choices of the strange and wacky things that shouldn't be overlooked from this week's releases.

There may be some tiny spoilers ahead.

Amazing Spider-Man #17

Best Pokemon Go Reference

No Caption Provided

Prowler is investigating a mysterious new organization. One thing he discovers is the guards are big on Pokemon Go. He even uses it to distract one later.

Suicide Squad: War Crimes #1

Best Reason to be Australian

No Caption Provided

Whenever you hear an Australian accent, your ears immediately perk up. Every so often you'll hear a new word or phrase. It turns out Australians can just make up words, and the rest of us will be none the wiser.

Rocket Raccoon and Groot #8

Best Revelation About Why Guys Spend so Much Time in the Bathroom

No Caption Provided

What do guys do when they spend so much time in the bathroom? For those wondering, it's to access a secret communications room hidden behind the shower.

Best Reason Not to Generalize or Make Stereotypes

No Caption Provided

Rocket and Groot are looking for a guy and make stereotype about rednecks. It turns out they were right but generalizing and profiling can sometimes hurt.

Gotham Academy Annual #1

Worst Welcome Greeting

No Caption Provided

It's a nice feeling when you go to a new place and someone offers a warm welcome. Unfortunately for the Gotham Academy kids, they run into this guy, and his welcome kind of sucks. No one wants to go to their doom.

All-New Wolverine Annual #1

Best Reason to Wear a Mask

No Caption Provided

Obviously, there's only one real reason to wear a mask: to protect your secret identity. Laura (Wolverine) and Gabby recently were given a real wolverine. Gabby decided to name him Jonathan and feels even he should protect his secret identity.

Strangest Team-Up

No Caption Provided

We've seen many superhero team-ups over the years. This one was different. Gwen and Laura found themselves in each other body. It was a surprise and took some time to get used to each other's special abilities.

Earth-2 Society Annual #1

Best Pep Talk

No Caption Provided

Life on Earth-2 has been nuts. Losing your planet and trying to adjust to a new one after a large number of people relocated could be difficult. Trying to live up to the legacy of a fallen superhero isn't an easy thing either. Sometimes the easiest thing is to just "be Batman." Maybe ask yourself, "What would Batman do?"

Best Hug

No Caption Provided

We often see really great hugs in comics each week. Here, you can see the feeling conveyed in a deep embrace. Don't be afraid to hug your loved ones.

Guardians of the Galaxy #11

Best Summation of the Current Marvel Comics Event

No Caption Provided

Comic book events sometimes get a little convoluted. The Guardians of the Galaxy are about to enter Civil War II. Kitty Pryde and Star-Lord manage to sum up the event in just a few words.

James Bond #9

Best Stop, Drop, and Roll

No Caption Provided

If there's one guy that knows about safety, it's James Bond. In a darkened tunnel, a firefight breaks out, and Bond uses the procedure to easily pick off the bad guys.

Uncanny Avengers #13

Worst Pep Talk

No Caption Provided

Hawkeye is incarcerated for killing a fellow Avenger. Deadpool breaks in to talk to Clint. He tries giving him a pep talk to make him feel better. Because it's Deadpool giving the pep talk, it's as bad as you would expect it to be. No one should be encouraged to kill more since killing is bad.

Predator vs. Judge Dredd vs. Aliens #2

Best Reason to Always Obey the Law

No Caption Provided

If you live in a world where Judge Dredd exists, you should know not to cross paths with him. He is the Law. If you try to disobey him, he's going to blow off your head.

Spider-Man #7

Best Reason Not to Fall Asleep in Class

No Caption Provided

Obviously falling asleep in class is not a good idea. Besides missing the lesson, it's likely one of your friends will mess around with you. When Miles Morales falls asleep in class, he's rudely awaken when a ball of paper is flicked into his open mouth.

That's it this week. Let us know in the comments below what other Best Stuff you dug this past week. Thanks to @ploiken for his suggestions. If you want to participate or felt we missed some other Best Stuff, don't complain, contribute, especially if you didn't offer any suggestions. Each week you can @reply me on Twitter at@GManFromHeck by Saturdays using the hashtag #BestStuffInComics. We'll give you a shout out and I'll think you're pretty groovy.

Be sure to always look for the best stuff and always be sure to get plenty of sleep before attending class. The last thing you want to do is swallow a piece of paper or yell out "Hulk!" in the middle of class. It'd be too embarrassing.

Oh come on, you missed the best part of the All-New Wolverine Annual: Gwen-as-Laura snikting herself in the face when she tried popping the claws, making Red Hornet almost hurl into her helmet.

But Gabby making a costume for Jonathan is definitely worthy of the mention.

Loved this scene, too. What a wonderful annual and hilarious story!

Also, I think this wolverine wants to eat me. Which, considering I only exist in your subconscious, is pretty disconcerting.

I haven't been able to read the new Wolverine series yet (it looks good though) but does Gabby have any powers? Because actual wolverines are vicious animals that I wouldn't want around a grown adult, much less a kid.

Also, I could have sworn Clint has killed someone before Bruce so that's not his first time taking a life, is it?

Gabby is known (by the reader; Laura herself doesn't know) to have at least one claw in her right hand. It's unclear if she has others or not. She doesn't APPEAR to have a healing factor because of the scars on her face, which means she also wouldn't have Laura's secondary powers (enhanced strength, durability, reflexes, and senses) since those are tied to the healing factor. Finally, she also has nanotechnology in her body that's slowly killing her, but also means she doesn't feel pain (it's hinted in issues 8-9 that these were NOT removed after the first arc. There was originally a line of dialogue in issue 8 that made it explicit she hadn't had the nanites removed, but for some reason that was changed when the issue was actually published).

As for Jonathan he's not exactly a normal wolverine. Squirrel Girl rescued him from a lab where he was being experimented on and gave him to Laura and Gabby. Taylor has hinted that there's something more to him, and in fact there was originally going to be a backup story in the annual that would reveal he's fully capable of going claw-to-claw with Lockheed. Also, wolverines are pretty much big ferrets with a lot of the same behaviors, and they ARE tameable. There's actually video out there of a trained wolverine being demonstrated as an avalanche rescue animal.

I STILL think Jonathan being named after John Belushi would've been a funnier in-joke.

If Gabby doesn't have a healing factor, she was killed off in last week's regular All-New Wolverine issue. So we'll have that answered either way next issue.

For a second there I thought He was giving genuine, wise advise.

Great book, and definitely one of the best Marvel is putting out right now. Taylor really understands the character, and strikes a superb balance of humor and character-driven drama.

As far as "Strangest Team up" goes...the same exact thing happened In Ultimate Spider-Man with Peter and Logan. It's not even an original take on the concept. Person with Spider Powers and Person with Wolverine Powers get body swapped...only this time they're girls.

@shawnbaby: pretty sure that was a big part of why they chose to have it happen to gwen(besides her popularity) instead of someone like squirrel girl
