Sinestro is pretty buff. Wonder what his workout regimen entails. Unless he's been getting great exercise from banging Lyssa Drak 24/7.

So did JJ senior actually die or what happened?

Also, great creepy image of Hugo Strange.

Also also, I did not notice Deathstroke was naked until it was pointed out. What the hell, Slade?

Man, SCTV barely gets referenced in anything, so props to Jim Zub! That in-joke's a real beauty, eh?

Marvel continues to bore and annoy me. I am so glad I stopped reading it a while ago. "Are you trying to body-shame me?" Really marvel? Are you going to come out with a super fat female hero soon to try and be even more "progressive"?

*sigh*

I was going to see Dr. Strange in theaters but Marvel may lose me as a fan forever at this rate.

I am just waiting for them to create a characters whose career is as a blogger on tumblr or maybe someone who rather than fights crime, fights trolls on the internet and constantly asks people "Did you just assume my gender!?" or screams "America has rape culture!"

@doc-holiday: I don't know what else to say.

You dropped marvel comics.....Good for you!

Doctor Strange is a movie from the MCU that has nothing to do with MU.

Wish they would double-up when they miss a week.

Yeah, is it me, or has this site been slim on the content in the last few weeks? There hasn't been a review posted since September. At least we have plenty of previews, including lots of Japanese hentai books... :/

You didn't have to say anything, my comments were not directed at you specifically but towards Marvel. I merely expressed my lack of interest in Marvel as a comic company.

@galacticshrub: It's been a lot longer than a few weeks. All we get these days are previews, shared content from Gamespot, and Best Stuff most of the time. Idk what the deal is behind the scenes but the site has definitely changed focus and it kind of breaks my heart. This was a vital site for me when I first got into comics. There was tons of comics talk and articles. Now there is very little. I have to go to Reddit to get my comics discussion fix now. I'm sure it has to do with getting traffic for the site and keeping things cost effective so it can continue so I don't blame Tony or Mat but I can't help but feel disappointed with this direction for Comicvine.

That's a holster on Deathstroke? Looks 100% like a baby carrier...looks almost as dumb as "bat knuckles" like...where do they come from? They come straight out of his knuckles like Wolverine's claws.

So someone did rewatch the first scooby doo movie, good to know. Also funny enough the comic book for the most part was relatable and grounded somewhat as they went into Velma past and anti social personality, then went to scrappy doo in have that happen lol XD.

Can someone please tell Marvel that poking fun of their Spider-Man teams' lack of creatively doesn't somehow excuse it? Why do they keep trying to draw from the same Spider-clone well every single time? It's like they're constantly telling the same joke at a party and not realizing that we're laughing at them, not with them.

Hugo Strange looks cool & creepy.

Sinestro's been taking steroids, I see. And he's with Lyssa. Thought he didn't have time for that. Then again I haven't read Green Lantern in ages.

@syncig: I hear you. This was site was the first thing for me to come close to filling the void left by Wizard magazine, but it seems the direction has changed quite a bit since Gamespot got involved. It sucks because most of the other "comic book sites" I've found are pretty mediocre at best, and this site was the one that stood out to me as a cut above the rest.

Avatar image for syncig

@galacticshrub: For sure. This site was always better than the others because it was mostly about comic books. Ed Brubaker (I think?) even tweeted about how comic book sites are 90% not comics. I get that articles about the TV shows and movies are going to draw traffic but comicvine used to have a much better balance.

Lol, that Deathstroke image really reminds me of Archer.

Without any context that Scooby apacolypse image is a real wtf moment.
