@lan_fan: and I think hulk will win if Superman and thor had a fight
The Dick Van Dyke Show (1961-1966) followed by the original Bob Newhart Show (1972-1978). I've seen every episode of Friends at least twice, and at this point, I have no desire to ever see it again. I have never seen a complete episode of the Big Bang Theory nor How I Met Your Mother. For the most part, I have lost interest in the sitcom formula. I have tried occasionally to pick up the genre again, though. I enjoyed The Good Place, Superstore and Community but fell off all of those mid-season two. I also liked the first season of the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, but never started season two and I didn't even make it through season one of The New Girl. I've seen a handful of scattered episodes of Parks and Recreation and the first two episodes of Brooklyn Nine Nine. I think that's everything since the early 2000's.
@bullpr: That, Malcolm in the Middle, and Fresh Prince of Bel Air are the only sitcoms that I genuinely find funny.
I see your point.
But I am very biased for the two series in the OP:
-When Friends was airing I had the good age to see part of myself in each one of the (male) characters
-When The Big Bang Theory started, I didn't really care about it until one of my friends told me to watch it as it was "us, 10 years ago, without the girls"
@johnnyz256: blah blah
@supermanthor: Goku wins.
@lan_fan: and Superman loses .
@biswaboxz: :(
@lan_fan: In the end Superman and Goku became good friends again :) . But i guess Goku has always shown that kind of impression towards others .
Seinfeld
@lan_fan: nah spiderman wins
Out of the two? Friends.
@theacidskull: thanks for your opinion
Seinfeld
The Office - Was ok, nothing to write home about, only saw about 15 eps though.
That 70's show - Never really watched it so can't comment, the lil I saw didn't pike my interest that much.
Frasier - Really good, more subtle and refined than most other sitcoms.
Scrubs - Awesome
30 Rock - Never seen it
Others to take into account:
Arrested Development - Among the all time greatest
Grounded for life - Hilarious
Brooklyn 99 - Takes little time to grow on you, slightly less hilarious with each passing season sadly
@rukelnikovftw: @faradaysloth: I watched these kind of sitcoms when I was a kid, and my only source is TV, so nearly all of the things you mentioned weren't available for me.
Between these two I would have to say Big Bang Theory. There was nothing special about Friends. It was a the white Living Single except not funny.

But you mentioned Malcolm (it was good with sprinkles of hilarious) and Fresh Prince (never really watched it). Many of the ones I mentioned are contemporary with those two :S
Just wanted to say two years have passed since my previous answer and I have still yet to see a single episode of Big Bang Theory. And I have HBO Max! It's on there so I could watch it. I will add that last year I did get into Parks and Req for a while and watched the first couple of seasons of The Office (American), but now they are off Netflix and it's too much trouble to watch them on "Peacock".
There are a couple of sitcoms I really enjoyed since 2019, all of which featured British comedian, Matt Berry. The IT Crowd, The Toast of London and What We Do in the Shadows. He also does a voice on Matt Groening's Disenchantment show. I want to check out Year of the Rabbit next (Amazon Prime) and Garth Marenghi's Darkplace (YouTube).
