Thor was amazing as a trailer, even though I didn't like the movie as much. Might have been my all time favorite, that first trailer dropped and it looked like it might be the best MCU movie to date, I must have watched it some 50 times.
Ultron is somewhere behind that, it looked pretty good. Too bad it didn't quite deliver again as much of the hype it generated.
But here's the thing with me. I know I have probably seen better trailers in my life of seeing movie trailers, I just cannot usually recall 2 minute clips from years back that well :)
Not saying it's the best by any means, but do you remember that first Suicide Squad/Queen trailer? That trailer was great..... The movie on the other hand was a broken piece of crap.
Not a superhero trailer and the movie was absolute garbage, but this trailer gives me chills every time...

Wow, that was showing me something much better than the movie. That made it appear as a far larger worldwide alien invasion with the focus of the narrative simply happening in LA. That would have made a far more interesting story :)
Yes! The first trailer that made me hype ever. I was like 17, and I was into violence and metal, and this trailer promised the perfect combo of the two!
That's where I should've also learned to never trust the trailers.
This is a tough question since it's hard for me to remember back through all of the trailers I've seen over the years. One that has stood out in my mind over the years is the original Alien trailer. No words, just a ghostly opening following by flashes of terror. So good.
