Welcome back to another edition of Best Comic Book Covers of the Week where we take a look at some of the most awesome looking comic covers. We also ask our followers on Twitter, and well as on our Facebook page, what they think as well. Let's get right down to business and check out some sweet art!
ELEKTRA #2 by Chris Samnee and Matthew Wilson
First up is ELEKTRA #2 by Chris Samnee and Matthew Wilson. Both of these covers were fantastic, but this one was our favorite and we love how this cover is set up and the color palate.
POWERS BUREAU #10 by Michael Avon Oeming
Next is POWERS BUREAU #10 by Michael Avon Oeming. What's great about this cover is how simple it is. The blood outlines the structure of the face and gives the sense of depth to the character's face.
BIRDS OF PREY #31 by Jorge Molina
Here we have BIRDS OF PREY #31 by Jorge Molina. The art work here is incredibly beautiful here and we love how the other characters appear within Batgirl's cape. Really cool layout.
Star Wars: Darth Maul - Son of Dathomir #1 by Chris Scalf
Next up is Star Wars: Darth Maul - Son of Dathomir #1 by Chris Scalf. This is a pretty fantastic looking cover. Scalf really put some great detail into Darth Maul's face and overall, it's a stunning cover.
Trinity of Sin Pandora #11 by Julian Totino Tedesco
Finally, we have Trinity of Sin Pandora #11 by Julian Totino Tedesco. This is one of the coolest covers of the week because it has such a great composition and it's pretty haunting. JTT has been doing some stunning work recently.
Here's what you guys voted for as your favorite cover.
HULK #3 by Jerome Opeña & Dean White
The cover you guys picked though Facebook and Twitter was HULK #3 by Jerome Opeña & Dean White. Lots going on here, but it looks great and the color work is extremely strong on this cover.
