Who is the better character?
Luke Cage pre Bendis.I think he will reach his potential in the Netflix series and he'll be more defined. He has so much potential.
@thelurker: But i know about the World Bank Order and stuf D:
Pilasy:La Voix d'un homme
Black Panther: very long history with the Avengers and FF; one of the first positive depictions of a black man in comics as well as one of the first of these characters who has a line-wide reputation for effectiveness and overall power level. Recognized as one of the most intelligent humans on Earth, with quite a good list of feats, he is easily the quintessential black male superhero: Black Panther Respect Thread
Captain Marvel/Pulsar: my favorite black heroine because she had an amazingly versatile and too powerful powerset, plus she appears like an extremely attractive woman with African American features. Her design basically glorified features that are generally not shown as attractive in comics. And she was depicted as tough, very intelligent, and worthy of respect by figures like Captain America. As I was growing up surrounded by a medium that tended to idealize Nordic characters with blond haired and blue eyed features, or the quintessential "All American" brown hair, brown/blue eyed look, it became increasingly important to have and see powerful heroes who were considered attractive that also had black features. Also, she is African American, so fits our general cultural background, being an actual American like Power Man/Luke Cage and Misty Knight. Did I already say that she has pretty much the highest level of power output of the vast majority of Marvel heroines, able to go against opponents that have OHKOed entire lineups of Avengers and X-Men? If not, see this link: Monica Rambeau Respect Thread
@bluesilver: War Machine is a sidekick, like Falcon
Storm. Queen of Marvel tbh
She is Marvel's most recognizable Black superhero (Could possibly fall into 2nd place after The Panther's movie comes out though)
Honestly she has the most cultural influence outside of comics(Of course when you compare her to other Black heroes.)
and if you disagree, then you are off your rocker. =/
Storm.
The others don't even compare.
Black panther by far imo
So you've also seen the light... Good for you...
