These characters are so hard to compare and choose who's better. Their role and traits couldn't be more opposite and they serve their roles well.

OT: I like Huu. I like his waterbending and I also like the fact that they gave the most average name ever to the giant spiritual monster guardian of the Foggy Swamp. But I have to vote for Joo Dee. Not only was she straight up creepy like she was supposed to be, but now that Long Feng is gone, she will represent my favorite story arc in the entire series in this tournament. I absolutely adore the final part of Book 2 in Ba Sing Se. Also, the existence of Joo Dee has produced a number of worthy internet memes.

I really like Zhao and what the writers used him for. What’s so great about him to be is that he is not only a villain for Team Avatar to face, but he was also a villain for Zuko to face. One of the greatest decisions the writers made when doing the show was using Zhao as conflict for Zuko. That made us want to root for Zuko even though he was also a villain. Zhao was such an easy person to hate and that was the intention. I really did like him as a villain even if he certainly isn’t on the level of some of the other villains.

With that said, he is no Iroh. Iroh is the perfect balance of wisdom and comedy. Countless times he has either taught me a life lesson or made my chest hurt because I was laughing so hard. Iroh brings so much emotion to the show. I personally think he holds the most emotional scene in the show (Leaves from the Vine). I absolutely loved how he genuinely cared for everyone he encountered. Whether it was a young blind girl or a robber, Iroh always wanted to help others. He is the soul of Avatar. He is the type of person we should try to be. :)
