Which animated movie was / is the best of both Marvel and DC??
Best Animated Comicbook Movie Marvel & DC
DC: Under The Red Hood
Marvel: Hulk vs. Wolverine (not even a comparison to Under the Red Hood, but I suppose its the best from Marvel, which really lacks in the animated movies category).
Hmmm, for me on the DC side it would probably have to be between these three, Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, Wonder Woman, Justice League: New Frontier. Honorable mentions are Batman: Under the Red Hood, and Superman: Doomsday. For marvel it's Dr. Strange. Highly underrated in my opinion.
DC: All-Star Superman
aaaaand, I'm not sure I've seen a Marvel animated feature to be honest. At least not one that I thought was good enough to mention.
I collected all the DC animation movies.... they are far better than Marvels. My favorite is Crisis in Infinite Worlds, Doomsday and Green Lantern First Flight.
Marvel did well and could have played their cards right for me Hulk vs Wolverine is a good movie especially with Deadpool almost stealing the scene. I wish they made a true X-Men cartoon episode from the many storylines that they did.
Return of the Joker
Wonder Woman
Crisis on Two Earths
Under the Red Hood
with the partial exceptions of Dr, Strange and Hulk vs, none of Marvels were that good IMO
Under the Red Hood is a pretty obvious contender for the top spot, and I wholeheartedly agree with that choice.
I'd also add Crisis on Two Earths and Mask of the Phantasm.
For Marvel it's a lesser selection, but Hulk vs Wolverine was very good.
I pretty much love all of DC's animated movies. Marvel can't seem to make any good movies save for Wolverine vs.
I loved All-Star Superman, both Superman/Batman's, The JLA movies, GL 1 & 2, Wonder Woman, Under the Red Hood, the list goes on. I've seen them countless times.

Oh, I forgot about Wonder Woman. That one's great, and really underrated.
I wasn't to crazy about that crisis JLA movie (the one with Ultraman, Owlman, etc)

It could have been done A LOT better but it was a scraped and rushed project since it was originally supposed to be a DCAU JL movie that made them transition into the JLU.

Was that what it was supposed to be? That's interesting. It was just sorta ok, to be honest. Very forgettable, ya know?
I don't know about anyone else but I thought the action/fight scenes were the greatest storyboarded super hero fight scenes ever....the alternate universe watchtower/sky battle was 13 minutes long roughly...if only they could do that kind of stuff on the big screen@ArturoCalaKayVee said:

also...some great dialogue, but, what else can you expect from Dwayne Mcduffie
I don't get why some people are saying Crisis on Two Earths, I really HATED that movie, one of the worst DC animated films (well, in my opinion anyway...)
Anyways, my list is:
Under the Red Hood (LOVED that movie, got me to like Jason Todd)
All-Star Superman (Underrated film with great animation, action, drama, suspense, etc. EVERYTHING you want in a Superman movie)
Hulk Vs (Best Marvel animated film, although Wolverine short was better than the Thor short imo, great humorous scenes featuring Deadpool)
BOTH Superman/Batman films (both had their flaws, but were consistantly entertaining throughout)
Green Lantern: Emerald Knights (Wasn't too impressed by First Flight imo, but follow-up had better characterization, action, adventure, etc. Also made up for that total mess of a live-action movie) :P
I've liked other animated films (primarily from DC) but those are my favorites for now...
@Gambit1024: Yeah, it was the original idea but there were some characters that were being featured as Earth-2 characters that apparently already showed up in JL so they were like, "whoah can't do this anymore." rather than just changing some guys. But I definitely agree that the movie is VERY forgettable. It was good but not one of their bests.

I don't even remember the fight scene, lol. And dialogue from McDuffie goes without saying. Dude knew what he was doing.

I was gonna bring that up. The episode where those guys showed up was one of the best in the series. The Batman/Batman conversation was incredibly well done.
Since it won't get a mention. I'll say the Spectre short although not my favourite. For the time they had, I really enjoyed it.
@Supreme Marvel: I really liked the short features. Spectre and Green Arrow were really good. Were there more?

Tbh, I don't recall which characters they were. Is it the Justice Lords episode?

Ah, yes, those were some great incarnations of the JLA. I wish they were adapted into the DCU mutliverse. Good story and AWESOME costumes.

Bolded ones I enjoyed, underlined was meh, italics haven't seen. Are the three I haven't seen any good? (If you saw them)
DC is Batman Year One and Marvel is Dr. Strange if they do a live action Dr.Strange I hope it's like the animated version

Naw.
@ArturoCalaKayVee: Yeah, I've seen them all. I liked Teen Titans one because I really enjoyed the series. And the series got me into comics. Wasn't for that, I probably wouldn't be reading them today. Jonah Hex, I can't remember it, so that's probably a bad thing. Catwoman was okay.
