Beard or no beard? Aquaman and Thor

Arthur can do either, but I prefer a clean shavin Thor.

I like both of them with beards.

Beards for both. It gives that rugged "warrior king" feel to the characters. It also makes them stand out a bit more in the sea of blond superheroes.

As for comic book versions, no beards.

Movie versions, give those bad boys some beards.

Thor's current beard looks trash I guess it's to match the current writing of Thor, but when Esad Ribic draws him with a beard it looks cool.

A beard (assuming well-kept enough) is a good shortcut to showing wisdom and maturity while clean-shaven can show more inexperience but more energy and that the person is still learning. At least in regards to how comics are usually drawn.

So I suppose it depends on where the character is at during the current point in their life and whether you think they should be displaying more a vibe of wise king or powerful warrior.

Personally, I do think both look good with beards but I tend to go back and forth on Aquaman, possibly because I still partially associate the beard with his 90's hook-hand "trying too hard to be badass" era.

How they are supposed to look. Don't even read Thor but always bothered me how MCU Thor didn't look like Thor. No hat and has a beard. Plus beards are dumb and im glad I can't grow one

For Thor I like a slight beard, kinda like he has in the MCU. The one he has right now is a bit much on him

I grew up with the clean shaven Aquaman, so I prefer that one. The DCCU version has made the beard work though.
