Batwoman CW Show Being Developed

Welp... On the one hand I'm flsbberflabbe...on the other hand I'm dead inside and should be numb to this. Why?! I thought they were done with Superhero shows on the CW?

I expected it, the crossover made no sense otherwise. I hope we don't get an appearance like Superman did in Supergirl.

Honestly the only way this can work is if there is no Batman or Batman is dead and he’s just us this legend now.

I have a gut feeling this will be the worst CW Show

Yeah. At least DC seems to be more strict with showing Batman on tv than Superman, so we might avoid that.

Another cw superhero show I'll pass.

Description for the show:

“Armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, Kate Kane soars onto the streets of Gotham as Batwoman, an out lesbian and highly trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city’s criminal resurgence,” reads the official logline for the potential series. “But don’t call her a hero yet. In a city desperate for a savior, Kate must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham’s symbol of hope.”

If Batman shows up, he is definetly getting his ass kicked by her. From the description of the show it seems that he either doesn't exist, he is retired or he is dead.

But on some good news, The only two decent shows is the CW don't seem to be involved in the crossover (Legends of tomorrow and Black Lightning).

I'm hopping that Batman is in a parallel reality to this.

A passion for social justice and an out lesbian? Taking this into consideration and the fact that this is going to be a Berlanti show, I can already imagine how this show is going to be.

Focusing on the term "criminal resurgence", the description implies that Gotham City underwent a period of time when crime was more scarce. I'd guess this means that Batman may have existed, but chances are he's dead.

CW again? I didn't expect this one.

Remember the Birds of Prey series? Yeah, people only care about BatMAN. Besides, CW doesn’t need any more superhero stuff. Now, if you were to say this idea was being developed for the DC streaming network, I wouldn’t be so quick to dismiss it. That service needs original programming if it’s going to survive against the Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Disney and HBO’s of the Internet.

Ok then that's a little weird....

Not going to make the same mistake I did with Supergirl. This show clearly isn't for me.
