Batman vs Spiderman: Who's more Bada**?
@hatemalingsia: He will be the best Batman we've gotten so far. He already has the look. He should, due to real life experience, pull off the rich playboy.
And say what you will about Zack that man's style is tailor made for comic fights.

Hopefully. Yes. Yes.
Yes!
"Badassedness" is a quality of characters that receives disproportionate attention on this site. What's more is that some users seem to "measure" characters by comparing their levels of badass. Why does it matter so much?
I wouldn't say Peter's a particularly bad@ss guy, he's just too geeky.
Spiderman is portrayed as very human, quirky, and relatable. Batman, on the other hand, is portrayed as an edgy, brooding vigilante; so naturally people find him badass.
However, it's laughable that anyone over the age of sixteen actually finds Batman to be dark and 'mature'; he's a neurotic man-child who dresses up as a bat and fights killer clowns with his half-naked orphan children.

Badassery is objective, going by ones personal opinion alone. Spidey is more Badass because he has more of a heroic will than Batman and has tussled and won against almost everyone in the Marvel U by just sheer guts and determination to do the right thing, too go the extra mile or die trying even when it's hopeless Captain America admits he is in awe when this happens. Batman is a alpha male within a world of godly beings and he with sheer aptitude of the best human instincts and capacity does the impossible but doesn't have the heart to do what Peter does when making things right one day at a time on a personal level. Someone who's truly badass puts his all in everything even his own suffering to achieve incredible things for his own sake, Bruce chooses to stay miserable while Peter chooses to stay hopeful or at least dedicated to doing right.;
Spider-Man has had his moments but generally speaking Batman is more badass.
-someone who is far more of a Spider-Man fan than Batman
Batman is more badass. Although some of Spider-Man's most badass moments rival a lot of Batman's most badass.
Batman.
I don't view Spidey as badass. He's too fun loving.

This. Being "badass" is very different from being "fun loving".

No brainer, Batman.
Though a bloodlusted Spider-man is pretty bad ass.
I like both but come on its Batman..The only time Parker is even close to being badass is when hes bloodlusted which rarely happens.
Again Badass is objective, Spider-Man has a badass attitude when he wisecracks and decides to burn people with his comebacks. He's badass because he's managed to get a super hot model girlfriend despite his geeky nature.
Batman.
Batman is a badass. Spider-Man is a goodass.
Spidey is too snarky and adolescent to be badass. Batman is Batman. 'Nuff said.
So is Deadpool and he has a Badass of the Week article. Spider-Man is a tier above him in power levels and beat him and Wolverine more than once.
No brainer, Batman.

Badassery is subjective, going by ones personal opinion alone.
FIXED.
Spider-Man isn't even cool peroid. And being fun and snarky doesn't mean your not a Badass, look at Deadpool and Sonic the Hedgehog.

I know this is over two years old...but I applaud you sir!!!
Batman is a badass. Spider-Man is a goodass.

Batman, Spider-man isn't suppose to be "badass" he has badass moments for sure but he's your "Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man".
Batman is more of what you would consider an archetypal 'badass' than Spider-Man. Spider-Man is awesome, but he's like Superman...neither is what comes to mind when you think 'badass'. They are awesome and capable, but are more 'approachable'. He is your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, after all.
