The Dark Knight Rises was pretty great overall.
BvS was mediocre at best.
Why are these two being compared?
TDKR because it was less flawed as a film. When it comes to being a proper adaptation, it was shittier than BvS.

Why are these two being compared?
Both DC, both with "old" Batmans, both with polarized opinions (one more than the other, though)
But just curiosity overall
Funny enough if Nolan Batman was more like Batfleck , TDKRwould had been amazing, instead of just being a good film that are no way near the other sequel. I was hoping for a more The Dark Knight return Batman in the last installment of the nolan trilogy, they even made a reference from the comic. Unfortunately that did not happened, but Bale performance was still good overall.
While Batman was more amazing in BvS, the movie overall was okay, which is honestly a huge disappointment.
While I was not a huge fan of what they did with Batman in TDKR, I still enjoy the movie overall and the ending left more of a impact then seeing the dirt rising in the end. Which is funny because both film did not have the balls to keep the hero dead, (or in BvS case at least pretend). That being said seeing Batman is alive left more of a impact because they developed his character unlike Snyder Superman.

"IF I TAKE OFF THAT MASK, WILL YOU DIE"
"Gur hurgle durgle burble."
"YOU'RE A BIG GUY"
"Hur durdle."
Best CBM scene, ever. Wasn't the biggest fan of TDKR, so BvS. Not to say TDKR is bad or anything though.

That legitimately made me lol.
It will depend wholly on how much the extra scenes in the released version of BVS adds to fix the messed up story from the theatrical release. TDKR is vastly better than the theatrical version of Dawn of justice in terms of everything from the story to the writing, even if Zack's deleted scenes add a lot more I'm skeptical if the finished product on the Bluray will be better. But I'll hold my vote on whether TDKR is better than the ultimate version of BVS until I see the film
Why're you crying?
TDKR is the better film, by far.
Entertainment wise, I'd say they're equal. Both fun films.
How?
BvS. The fact that I watch TDKR for comedic purposes makes it lose on the spot.
Lmao CIA is the best character in any comic book film
Still waiting for a logical answer to why BvS is treated like it crucified Jesus.
IDK, especially when its compared to this movie lol

Dude, I get respecting people's opinions and all but... am I going mad or was Batman v. Superman actually not the train wreck people make it to be?
Personally I thought DKR was a pretty great movie and a mostly satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. BvS was disappointing on so many levels and is my least favorite Batman movie. The character arc for Bruce alone was better than the one in BvS. Also Bane was by far a much better villain than Lex was. I honestly think people overhate on DKR.

What if I told you Lex was a good villain?
@summmoner: Well then Id say you have bad taste in villains. ^_^
Its not. People just can't reconcile their expectations with reality. That's why you'll see a large amount of the complaints, besides editing, come down to unmet expectations. Some of them are valid, of course, but others definitely aren't.
Batman vs Superman. It was a movie with many flaws but I really enjoyed it. But mostly because it was a superhero movie, while the Dark Knight trilogy wasn't. Superheroes are superheroes. If you try to make them more realistic or grounded they lose their charm. I didn't like the tone or the performances (especially Joker, he wasn't that good at all, I don't get the amount of praise Heath Ledger gets) despite them being overall well received. I don't imply that I hated them, and if the were non-Batman related movies I might have even really liked them, but don't try to sell me something for what it isn't. If I want to see superheroes give me superheroes and if I want to see comedy or drama give me comedy or drama. I know I'm in the minority but I'll even take that 2011 Green Lantern movie that was trashed by pretty much everyone over the Dark Knight trilogy.

I could begin to explain why he is a good villain right at this moment.
That's how confident I am in my argument, lol.
Perhaps it'd be better if you told me why you think he's a bad villain.

I've yet to see someone right a logical argument as to why the movie is bottom of the barrel. Most of people's arguments agains the film have more holes then they claim the film's plot has.
I prefer BvS because I liked Bat Affleck, Wonder Woman and action and TDKR, you know, I never liked that so much and I liked BvS little bit more but TDKR is better movie overall.
@buttersdaman000: Primarily editing. But there are other areas where TDKR is superior, such as basic script work, plot progression, general performances and acting, sensible points that don't seem shoe-horned in.

I agree about editing for sure, which also ties in plot progression I guess....even if TDKR has some huge glaring plot holes. Same goes for acting. I just wouldn't say all that propels TDKR to be so much better than BvS since it has it's fair share of problems as well lol
DKR stomps. DKR was actually a pretty good movie, most the hate just stems from the fact that it wasn't quite as good as the first two. BvS, however, is not good. No sir, not at all.
