Hey Viners,
This is the go-to discussion thread for the monthly feature! Come here if you want to provide feedback, make suggestions, ask questions, etc.
Thanks!
He can beat everyone but Squirrel Girl.
Anyways, I like the "Does Batman Always Win?" threads. mostly when Batman wins.
Thanks. He technically hasn't won yet, though. I said he'd stalemate Cap and lose to Wolverine. Guess we'll see how this next one turns out on Monday :DHe can beat everyone but Squirrel Girl.

Also I know who Bats if fighting now. Should be a fun read on Monday.

i think thats what makes Batman the superhero without powers, is that he will win and he will always wins....simply put, he is BATMAN
No. No, no, no. I am tired of those fanboys, who are completely unobjective. There actually is a LOT of super heroes/villains, who could beat Batman.
Of course, but that doesn't make it any less interesting to think about what would happen if he took on characters he doesn't know.No. No, no, no. I am tired of those fanboys, who are completely unobjective. There actually is a LOT of super heroes/villains, who could beat Batman.
We've all seen the memes or heard the jokes before... Batman always wins. Why? Because he's Batman ! As funny as this tends to be, I thought I'd turn it into a monthly segment to test that statement out. Batman obviously doesn't always win, but I thought it would be fun to see who he could defeat in fair, one on one battles with fellow street level characters that aren't from his universe.
Batman vs Moon Knight, let's see if Batman is really a better combatant than his Marvel "rip off".

Eh, I'm pretty sure Iron Man stomps Batman in a random encounter.

I really don't think it would be so clear cut. Gadgets that disrupt electronics are standard fare for Batman, and breaching the helmet and compromising vision is pretty easy to do. If Batman were blindsided, yeah, it's done. But Stark tends to be loud, and Batman is the stealthy one.
Only 3!@k4tzm4n:How many of these have you done so far?
@serpent222: Eh, Iron Man is used to dealing with stuff meant to screw up his suits and really he can only be kept down by something like that for a few minutes at best(and that's if the person has personal info on how his armor works).
Start is loud because he doesn't need to be sneaky, although he does have his stealth suit if he needed to be sneaky after all.

I'm not going to get into a debate about this on here, but the fact that we clearly disagree just further demonstrates why it would be a good one to do.
@serpent222: I guess, but I think Bats would at least need to be given powerful equipment to make it fair.

Well, the alternative is to compromise Iron Man's equipment to a lower level, which I think is perfectly feasible.

True, that could work.

Sorry dudes, but neither of those are street level characters. Additionally, I wouldn't consider myself an expert on either, so I wouldn't feel qualified doing those proper justice.@k4tzm4n said:

@k4tzm4n: D'oh! Forgot about the street level part. Taskmaster would be an interesting match up. I've always heard of comparisons between Punisher and him too, so that could be a good one.
AHAHAHAHAH! Just got it!
Deadzone vs Batman, you know you want to.
Batman Vs Moon Knight!
Batman Vs Spidey!
Batman Vs Rex (From Invincible)!
Batman Vs Hawkeye!
Batman Vs Gambit!
Batman and Damian Wayne vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Batman vs. Daredevil
Batman vs. Taskmaster
Batman vs. Predator
Batman vs. Bullseye
Bloodlusted Batman vs. Jason Todd, Damian Wayne, Dick Grayson, and Tim Drake
@Decoy Elite: Second that, Batman vs. Moon Knight! Finally would get an objective look at that fight.
Batman vs Daredevil would be very interesting.
Also Batman vs TMNT

I second this, as strongly as possible. While Iron man has better weapons and flight/strength, I think it would be very entertaining to see how Batman's strategy of elusiveness + many gadgets would hold up. I don't think it would be a stomp as many people say.

How is Captain America, leader of the Avengers a street level character, while Iron man is not?
Also, why does the suggestion for who he goes up against have to be non-DC?
If this is going to be an ongoing feature, would it be possible to define what Batman carries as standard equipment? I've already seen arguments about whether or not he would have this or that, and I think it would make the articles more interesting. If we know that every time Batman goes out he has magnets, EMP devices, a way to signal bats, smoke bombs, or whatever, then there isn't discussion about it. It's pretty important given the random encounter angle.
off the top of my head bullseye, gambit, cyclops, punisher. I think batman vs iron would be a stomp for ironman.
@k4tzm4n: would you take suggestions for these battles if they are batman vs an alternate version of a character? Such as a different era like grey hulk or alternate reality like ultimate marvel.
<3 Ninjak! Maybe even Bloodshot!I see no one payed attention to "non-DC". How about something other than Marvel?
My favorite would be Batman Vs Ninjak. Maybe Batman has more skill, but Ninjak clearly goes farther in fights.
Do this, Katzman!
Batman vs Daredevil would be very interesting.
Also Batman vs TMNT

That's certainly a possibility if the version is drastically different.@k4tzm4n: would you take suggestions for these battles if they are batman vs an alternate version of a character? Such as a different era like grey hulk or alternate reality like ultimate marvel.
And you might see it happen ;)I'd like to see how Batman stacks up against Daredevil.
LOL.AHAHAHAHAH! Just got it!
Deadzone vs Batman, you know you want to.
They're both definitely options.@k4tzm4n:Okay
I agree Punisher would be an interesting one how about Daredevil?
Good suggestions!Batman Vs Moon Knight!
Batman Vs Spidey!
Batman Vs Rex (From Invincible)!
Batman Vs Hawkeye!
Batman Vs Gambit!
Agreed!Daredevil, Gambit, and Hawkeye would all be cool fights.
Bullseye could definitely be fun.Vs Spidey
Vs Bullseye
Vs Doc Ock
Excellent suggestions.Batman and Damian Wayne vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Batman vs. Daredevil
Batman vs. Taskmaster
Batman vs. Predator
Batman vs. Bullseye
Bloodlusted Batman vs. Jason Todd, Damian Wayne, Dick Grayson, and Tim Drake

Physical stats and powers place him in an entirely different weight class.
Everything he has in his belt and cowl is standard gear. It's just a matter of his morals determining if he'll use any at all. The signal to call upon bats isn't applicable because this takes place in an unpopulated city.
K4tzm4n, hold up. You actually didn't address any of my questions.
I didn't ask about weight classes, I asked how Captain America is a street level character as leader of the Avengers, while Iron man is not.
As for Iron man being in a different weight class, the last 2 matches have been against Wolverine, who is super human with a healing factor and adamantium skeleton, and Black Panther who is the King of The Dead, and is in a higher weight class than even Iron man.
Let me put it this way. If it is reasonable that Black Panther could take Iron man, then it should be reasonable for Batman to at least have a chance. Even if you think it is a stomp, you can write it that way as long as you justify it.
More importantly, if enough people request it, will you do it despite your opinion that its not anywhere near a fair match?
I also asked if you could maybe standardize Batman's equipment for these features, as I think that would make sense and why the opponents have to be non DC.
Also, the call to signal bats has nothing to do with whether or not a city is unpopulated. Indeed, if the city is unpopulated there are more likely to be bats.....
I was in a rush. Here we go:@k4tzm4n said:
