AVATAR (TLA/LOK) : SIBLING FORCE RANKING TOURNAMENT

Avatar (The last Airbender / Legend of Korra) : Sibling Force Ranking

OK so in this tournament, we are going to determine the best/most powerful Siblings in the avatar franchise (in ascending order). It would be determined by eliminating the LEAST powerful Sibling Force until we have only one group of siblings standing.

The rules are simple :

- comment the LEAST!! powerful group of siblings for every round.

- Comment only ONE!! I.E the weakest on the list.

- Elimination would take place every 2-3 days with the removal of the least powerful and the next round would be available for voting.

- All feats from all media (TV, comics) applicable

- Characters physicals, hype, status, feats and bending prowess should be considered, characters should be judged based on their competence and not just bending alone. Based on how you rate each of them.

-NO AVATAR STATE POWER UP OR FEATS CAN BE USED OR CONSIDERED AS A FACTOR. NO AMPLIFICATIONS.

I can see this tournament being a strong producer of salt, I am prepared for it >:)

It will be very hard to match the Fire siblings and the blood siblings.

We didn't get much of her sisters tho, that's why I included Yaling and Ru instead, one is a badass earthbender and the other is a Chiblocker(?).

I did think about it tho but tom tom is featless I just felt yaling and Ru would be a better pick. They never get involved in anything even when considering comic characters.

Has to be Tenzin's children. Most of these groups either have a top tier aiding them or two high tiers, and the airbenders simply don't fit the bill. Only Suyin's kids could be debated as the other option but... no

I'm thinking the airkids but I'm not sure yet, suyin and liling's children are also options.

Tenzin's kids. Combat wise they don't quite stack up.

Also, Yaling would definitely solo Tenzin's kids or probably take on Suyin's kids too. Matching Toph is something I don't see these guys do in raw power, even if it was for only one comic and not consistently.

Liling's kids. Yaling would not beat the airbender kids alone, and her sister cannot do anything to any bender on this list in a fight; she is as good as cannon fodder.

All because "Kya is such a weaklink to the point that they would even have a better chance without her. She's so weak to the point where people around her get weakened by her radiating weakness energy".

I'm also thinking Yaling can solo the airkids but I'm not too sure about that.

She only had like one over night lesson. The one time she tried chi blocking, it was on her her mom from behind and she failed. I think Ru would lose to anyone here.

I'm voting out Yaling and Ru. Jinora is competent and even if Meelo and Ikki are not the best, the three of them joining up and using superior mobility could take Yaling.

Yaling's fight with Toph makes her look better than she actually is. At the start, Toph is running around her metal maze trapping multiple people in it, and while her focus is on that, Yaling pops up out of no where, airborne and clotheslines Toph. She already knows about Toph's weakness. While heading to the roof and while on the roof, none of Yaling's attacks connect with Toph. After they fall through the roof, Toph lands perfectly, while Yaling falls on her face. Then four other fighters come up behind Toph and she effortlessly traps them in a metal box, giving Yaling time to recuperate. Then, Toph uses a metal cable for the first time and blocks Yaling's attack. Yaling does pull a good move and trips Toph with the earth under her, knocking her down. Yaling thinks she has won and they have an exchange of words but Toph knows Sokka is here and he KO's Yaling with his boomerang. I do not think in a straight up fight, Yaling would do as well.

This. Jinora alone could likely beat Yaling given her master status.

I have Tenzin would beat Katara. Why would I say them?

Yaling and Ru.

I don't remember the fight between Yaling and Toph in detail, but I do remember that when I first read it, the thought didn't even occur to me that Yaling was near Toph's level. The fight more so serves to reinforce that Toph isn't invincible against earthbenders (or in general) like some portion of the fanbase likes to pretend, not necessarily to prop up Yaling as yet another earthbending GOAT contender. Not to say anyone here thinks that, but still, she isn't soloing a master airbender and two others.
