In this thread I'll be showcasing physical and bending feats from three LOK waterbenders, Tonraq, Kya, and Tarrlok (no bloodbending).
Tonraq
Tonraq is the Chief of the Southern Watertribe and related to two avatars, being the father of avatar Korra and the brother of Dark Avatar Unalaq.
Waterbending:
Creates a decent sized icewall.Maintains a waterblast for a decent period of time.With the help of two fodder benders, bends a massive wave to cover a whole forest.Creates a gigantic ice ramp while simultaneously creating an ice prison for the dark spirit.Water arm blasting.Iceboarding.Climbs mountains like a boss.Flash freezing.
Speed and Physicals:
Speed:
Dodges an attack from a dark spirit.Tags a dark spirit mid air.Dodges or destroys a huge number of attacks, including environmental ones.Comes extremely close to punching Unalaq, one of the best waterbenders in the verse, in the face.
Strength:
Hits the ground so hard he completely shatters his ice fist.
Durability:
Tanks an attack from Eska or Desna.Tanks a massive ice attack from Unalaq.Tanks a smaller ice attack from E&D together. These two have destroyed planes with their ice.Tanks this.Tanks this.And after all of that, he's still conscious, despite not being in the best condition before the fight.Tanks an airblade (or two?) from Zaheer. These blades have two shotted Korra, but Tonraq's fine the next time we see him.Tanks an airblast from Zaheer. Zaheer had to resort to BFR to get rid of him quickly enough.
Kya
Kya is a master waterbender, a skilled healer, and is also related to an avatar, in this case Aang.
Waterbending:
Water arm slam and flash freeze.Breaks off the tip of Ming Hua's arm and redirects it back at her.Spams ice shards at Zaheer.Water Drill.Uses water to "fly" at Zaheer.Knocks away Dark Spirits.Stonewalls Ghazan's boulder, which straight up shatters on contact.Holds off Ming Hua for a couple of seconds.Becomes the first bender to tag Ming Hua with a massive water blast.Descends a waterfall with waterbending.Kya is the second best healer in the world after her mother Katara.
Speed and Physicals:
Speed:
Dodging attacks from Ming Hua.Dodging another attack from Ming Hua.Does a summersault.Does a flip.
Durability:
Tanks an ice attack from Ming Hua.Tanks another attack from Ming Hua.Tanks a large earth attack from Ghazan.
Tarrlok
Tarrlok is Amon's brother and Yakone's son, and when unrestricted is one of the most powerful benders in the verse. However, I will only discuss his physicals and waterbending here.
Waterbending:
Instantly creates a waterblade that cuts his desk and the bookcase in half.His water bubble tanks sustained fire streams from Korra.As far as spammability and sheer attack speed/volume, this is far and away the best attack in the verse. Creates a water whip to grab Asami.
Physicals:
Tanks Korra's earth attack and creates his bubble well after she fires her fireblasts. A decent speed and durability feat.Tanks a few other attacks from Korra in their fight.
