Art style you prefer: Alex Ross or Stjepan Sejic?

Two of my favourite artists.

Ross does the best Superman, but Sejic does the perfect Wonder Woman in my opinion:

Both are pretty stellar really. Ross' work on The Kingdom really matched the storytelling. Although I've read more Sejic work, such as Aphrodite IX vol 2 as well as IX generation.

I can't personally pick one.

Yeah, it's hard. I loved Alex Ross's Marvels and Stjepan did incredible work for underwater Atlantis in Aquaman's book. I'm really looking forward to Justice League Odyssey.

Alex Ross by far.

I refuse to choose between the two, because both are exceptional. Sure, Ross is a legend and his art predates anyone of such quality in the business, but still, trying to be as objective as possible if you'd ask what artist I'd choose for a comic I wrote I would really struggle with the answer.

PS. This Captain America is atrocious.

Alex Ross for sure but on some heroes I just hate how he makes them so old looking.

I prefer Ross for covers and for art which tries to be more monumental and important but I will take a book drawn entirely by Sejic every single time.

Ross. Huge fan of Sejic but something his art looks too cartoony.

Sejic got me hooked on Top Cow's comics way back. It's the only reason I actively follow comics today.

2nd dude. I prefer that style. Reminds me of Micheal Turner's.

I can't really say I'm a fan of either. Alex Ross's is without question great but just not for me, whereas Sejic's just looks very cartoony. If I had to pick one to read an entire series I'd go with Sejic though.

It kinda depends on what they are drawing for. Like Ross I think is a better 'poster artist' as in he's better at making art that you can put on a poster and be great just there, the first image in the OP is a good example. But Sejic's regular form is better for sequential artwork like comics... but mainly that is because when Ross does sequential stuff, it quickly looses a lot of the quality and finish you expect from a piece of 'Ross artwork'. It's not to say that it's bad, but it just sort of looks unfinshed compared to the splash-pages and covers.

Too different of styles for me. Ross makes everything he draws look straight superhero. But Sejic’s work on Aphrodite XI just fits that world. Depends on the situation I guess.

Two different styles, but i gotta admit i am biased here i really love Ross's work.

Like both but Sejik gets my vote. I think that Ross is doing a great job but I like him more as a cover artist than when he is doing interior art.
