ARROWVERSE CONFIRMS BRUCE WAYNE'S EXISTENCE
@the_hajduk: How do you mean?

Scared batmans going to show up and steal Olivers thunder?!?!

lol I don't know. The DCCW is just so far removed from mainstream DC at this point. We've been waiting for this for six years and now that it's finally happened... it feels like it's too late. There is no place for Bruce Wayne in this universe.

I get where you're coming from.
Wasn't necessary
Nothing is necessary.
A good show isn't necessary.
@the_hajduk: There's always a place for Bruce Wayne, Batman would be king in this verse in no time. He is Batman.
It's cool IMO. If they actually made Batman cameo in the arrowverse that would be cool with me. Then he could have his own show. I like the CW verse honestly.
For all the gripes I have with it, the CW verse does its job OK imo. I wouldn't be all too opposed to seeing a Batman on there, but please make him good.
CW would ruin Batman. I am a fan of Arrow but I can't lie and act like it is a high quality show, and they haven't stayed true to Oliver character in the comics at all really.

That's the thing though. Oliver isn't always the same, depending on the writer. Heck, even the same writer can do a 180. Look at Ben Percys' New 52 and Rebirth and you'd never know he did both. Then there's the Oliver Queen showing up in The Wild Storm...

@the_stegman: Batman is multiverse.
It's been known for a while he's existed on Earth one. Well, not him specifically, but we knew that a Wayne existed. Superman also confirmed the existence of Batman on Earth 38, so him being around shouldn't be a surprise. It's a good name drop though. I'd be interested to know if Batman actually exists on Earth one. If he does, how does he stack up against Oliver Queen?
Arrowverse is only in the news for 3 reasons
Crossover
Latest introduction/easter egg especially if they involve Batman
Cliffhangers that ultimately never get a follow up.
I've stopped watching them all and will only occassionally return to Arrow when Slade pops up. I think DCTV is in need of a Rebirth of its own. They've starting working out their film issues as well, time to give Berlanti and Guggenheim the boot.

I doubt they will introduce batman anyway.
I really, really don't like Arrow but I have to say that's kind of a bold name drop. I would be super interested to see how they would approach Batman as a character in the show, seeing as how Arrow is far more "Batman" than "Green Arrow" as it is in this verse.

Probably a begrudging respect in each others ability, combined with a probably friendly rivalry out of costume. To his credit, even a dark Green Arrow is still lighter in tone than Batman. I would expect any Batfam to be small. No more than a Robin, Oracle, and Alfred. Maybe Ace, but I think Bruce wouldn't approve of Team Arrow.
Just give a good Actor a role and handle his character properly , that's it fans would be happy.
Or just give Ben Affleck a call and a paycheck , fans would be happier.
Great time to see an extremely goofy & pathetic version of Batman...
? Arrow is CW not MCU.
If Bruce did appear, Brett Dalton would be my pick.
Grant Ward as Bruce Wayne? Haha nice, hell of a combo. Brett Dalton is an absolutely phenomenal actor tbh, he'd be a great choice for the role.
However...
I really don't think that the CW deserves to work with an actor of his talent, though. They'd have no idea how to capitalize on that talent. Lmao

In my opinion, Brett Dalton could play Batman in a feature film, he's my pick if they'd gone younger in the DCEU.

The sheer stupidity of this comment is baffling. CW has capitalized and over capitalized on actors like Tom Cavanagh, Victor Garber, John Barrowman and Manu Bennett to name a few and they can't use Brett Dalton properly?

Actually this is very much true, I take back what I said. John Barrowman and Manu Bennett are greatly utilized in particular. Fantastic actors, they steal all the scenes they're in.
I wasn't making a comment about Arrow specifically btw, I was referring to the CW as a channel. Sometimes they can get cheesy is all.
And hey I am not stupid, I just...say a lot of stupid things. lmao
@the_magister: I was talking about Arrowverse as a whole. The only other CW shows I have watched are Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries and The Originals.
@rbt: Yeah I was mainly referring to the CW as a whole entity when I said they don't deserve someone like Dalton. There are good shows, but if you look at the ratio of good actors to the quantity of shows...it's not super impressive. The only shows I am invested in are Arrow and The 100, personally.

Oh yeah, I forgot about The 100. Its a great show.

So we're finally agreeing about stuff, we always seem to be on opposite sides of everything at other times lmao

It probably won't last lol.
