Nope, I went into the Last Jedi very excited to see where Star Wars was going, looking back now I don’t think it was a great movie and will go down as one of the worst of the franchise, but I was on the edge of my seat and excited the whole way as I wanted to see what was in store for the Star Wars universe, I’m fondly looking forward to the movies shows and other content coming next

I think 6 was plenty frankly, especially looking at it now.

I think this is pretty much a textbook example of too much of a good thing. I love Star Wars, but a new movie every year is definitely too much.

After The Force Awakens, Disney/Lucasfilm got a little too greedy and thought that they could just keep producing hit movie after hit movie, but they can't. Star Wars movies need to feel special, which is why I think their post-Rise of Skywalker strategy will work out for them a lot better in the longrun.

I don't find the sequel trilogy that exciting but I'm kinda interested in the Palpatine thing but that's it.

I thought I was.

Then I recently saw the trailer for the new one on a big screen.

And once again I felt some kind of excitation.

But after the disaster of a movie that the LJ was, they will definently lose me if I don't like it.

I dont know how others feel about it but personally everything being so black and white and tied up with the empire is just dull. I still enjoy the universe but a movie about Nihlus or Revan would be much cooler

The SJW Disney is ruining the franchise, but now the 007 franchise became an SJW target too, California is promoting this in Hollywood, a state which is governmentally ruled by radical leftists.

California is ruining the American film industry, they are limiting numerous writers with creativity, anything else which doesn't fit the SJW, is either not supported or ignored, they're constantly promoting anti-conservative speech, together with Google and other big giant tech corporations.

Netflix is the only one so far, who is acting independently, they promoting series with originality, such as Stranger Things and so on.

The Last Jedi was the first time I saw a Star Wars film and felt that "this is just dumb", "why would they do that?", "narratively that doesn't make sense".

Say what you will about the prequels but they were entertaining.

Yep. TFA was great and gave me a lot of hope for Star Wars with Disney. But whatever hype I had was ruined by Rogue One, TLJ and Solo.

I'm a causal Star Wars,so far as movies go? yes. Prequels are mediocre. TFA was solid, TLJ was just bad. Kinda lost interest.

Voted 'no' but instantly regretted it, TLJ bored me like no other movie. With the movies, yes, but not the Star Wars brand in general, I love the lore and hope that they continue to build upon it; I'm bored with the movies for now but I do hope they pick up again in the future, I believe they could overcome this setback and make amazing films again once Kathleen Kennedy is out.

I'm getting bored of the basic remakes.

We need some fresh characters, fresh storylines.

Not just Skywalker central all the time.
