They have similar powers to krptonians they are super strong and have heat vision and freeze breath and can withstand massive amounts of damage the full extent of their powers have never been shown so I was wondering if they could be krytonian

No. The Powerpuff Girls were created by Professor Utonium in an attempt "to create the perfect little girls" using a mixture of sugar, spice, and everything nice.

No cause their powers are so *** inconsistent, well that and like Fallen said they were created by Professor Utonium.

I'm pretty sure their powers don't come from the sun. They do have a similar power set though, but that's it.

No, they're actually related to Martian Manhunter. They just shapeshift to look like little girls.

I suppose their powers may have been based on Supemans', seeing as he's the classic superhero, but they aren't kryptonian.

What a ridiculous question. They are an experimental accident from chemicals. Not aliens.

Why was a middle-aged man messing around in his basement with little girls?

Don't listen to these amateurs. Sugar spice and everything nice followed by Chemical X was just some bullshit that the professor made up so the government wouldn't ask him questions. The truth is Professor utonium found a ship with Kryptonian triplets. WE KNOW THE TRUTH. And Darkwing Duck is Batman's duck!.

If inserted in the DCU, they would have roots in Kryptonian DNA

What if Chemical X is a strand of Kryptonian genome...? But for licensing purposes the creators couldn't say that and instead secretly labeled it "Chemical X".

Now it makes a lot more sense that the Powerpuff Girls are triplet Kryptonian clones/hybrids.

Why is noone questioning why a grown man tried to create little girls?

Anyways no they are not kryptonian> Their DNA consists or sugar, spice and everything nice with some CX. Kryptonians are not that cute.

Considering there's an entire episode where they got sunburns for flying too close to the sun and could barely move for it afterwards, no, I don't think so.

@wastelandman: CN and DC are owned by Time Warner, it's why most DC tv shows within the animated department are on CN. Or how Daffy Duck became a GL. If they wanted to do a PPG and DC crossover it would be within their parameters.
