Poll Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone's Spider-Man and Gwen Stacy - Best Comic Book Movie Couple? (29 votes)

Yes 45%
No 55%

Regardless of what you thought of their films, you can't deny the amazing chemistry their versions had. And, yes, I know the actors actually dated in real life too, which made it more easier.

So, yeah, do you think Garfield and Stone are the best CBM couple?

They are great . But , there are a few others that match :-

1) Steve Trevor and Diana

2) Arthur and Mera ( for most parts )

3) Deadpool and Vanessa

4) Steve and Peggy ( possibly the most endearing )

5) Tony and Pepper

When I first saw this I thought, “They we’re good, but there’s gotta be one better.”

Then I started thinking about it and I couldn’t think of one that I though was better.

Maybe Peter Quill and Gamora, but I still think I’d give it to Peter and Gwen.

I'll say yes. Their relationship was one of the few positives from the Webb movies.

Absolutely. The only one that comes close is Steve and Diana

Eh, they're grating to me. In every scene they're trying to out sarcasm each other. They're the type of couple who are cute to themselves but annoying to anyone around them.

Yes. The only one I'd argue even comes close is Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor.

@the_stegman: Not really , they are the ones who affect each other the most and Pepper was the heart of Tony’s storyline .

I will just send a link to a video where someone breaks their relationship down brilliantly. I mean , you could do that with any CBM couple , but it felt as if though the meaning of the relationship was perfectly in line with what the person was saying .

Off the top of my head, the only one that even comes close is Steve and Peggy - but I'd still put them below Peter and Gwen.

Yes. If not, definitely up there. I loved Emma Stone and Garfield's chemistry. Which is one of the main reasons why I hated that the franchise was wiped.

Can't think of any relationship in MCU that holds a candle to it. Diana and Trevor comes close though.

That's spot on, IMO.

No. Steve and Diana are better. So are Wade and Vanessa. And Steve and Peggy. And Tony and Pepper.

Because there aren't too many romances that are good, yes.

Honestly?
