Am I the only one who wasn't hyped by Avengers: Endgame first trailer?

After eagerly waiting for the Avengers 4 trailer for weeks, the outcome seemed... Okay?

Without another trailer, it hurts me to admit that the hype isn't there. My fear is that it seems Avengers: Infinity War is the peak of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in terms of hype, and arguably money too. Either that or I am growing tired of superhero films.

Think about it, after killing off half the MCU in that ending for Avengers: Infinity War, it might be ironic that the half of the audience's interest might be killed off too, especially that nothing is mentioned about resurrecting the characters. Just think about the lack of advertising of Justice League's Superman, which was one of the factors that hurt the movie's box office chances.

It is just a first trailer. They wanted to showcase how emotionally damaged the heroes are after what happened in IW and I think they did a good job. There are going to be more trailers later that will have feats and other stuff like this.

Shouldn't a first trailer make a good impression? Although to be honest, I don't know how else I can make better hyped trailer than the one we got, I am just after all, a critic and not the trailer-maker.

I know there will be, but this one did its job, almost without showing anything that could be a reveal in the film. Only reveal was Ronin, and its ok to show all the founding members of the team will be in the film (also he looked kinda badass). And it ends with Scott going to Steve's place, which is what many had theorized would happen, giving a hint on what the direction of the plot will be.

Yeah I wasn't really hyped either. It seemed fine in terms of quality but given the amount of buildup the trailer's been receiving I found it to be very disappointing.

This was more of a teaser than anything else. Not meant to get the blood pumping but to give as a quick snap shot on the after effects of Thanos. The more bombastic stuff will come later.

they could at least show them trying to stop some chaos on the street as a result of the Thanos' snap for example. The casuals who watched the trailer would at least get a gist of what's going on.

I think they're trying hard not to really reveal anything about the plot and stuff and the trailer was more setting the tone for the film

I mean I was hyped because... Well the trailer had just dropped. But after Tony ranted for 50 seconds I was kinda worried we wouldn't see Carol, or their rage towards thanos. I Was right.

They don't want to ruin the Captain Marvel movie by having the Avengers steals the show.

What they were trying to do was not hype the fans but just prepare them and also to satisfy them. People have been complaining for the last two months that Disney haven't released anything yet.

In my opinion it was just a teaser and it did its job.

This movie is supposed to more personal and focused on the OG Avengers. What did you expect, them charging Thanos again lol?

I don't think anyone gets hyped for the first trailer. It is always mostly a teaser and nothing else.

Too much Captain America.

I felt sad and depressed for them, just as the heroes should feel. Maybe this trailer is supposed to show us how hopeless everything seems until the next trailer reveal more about the plot and in particular how the group can undo Thanos’s damge. Remember, the end of Infinity War was just the halfway point; “it’s endgame now”.

@michaelbn: I think the majority of Tony and Cap's showings in this trailer shows that they will fight together in the end for one last time in an emotional way which makes me feel sad tbh . I knw i am bit exaggerating towards this but still .

I was digging the beginning, the middle was kinda filler and the end whiplash took me out. I love Ant-Man and Marvel's humor, but it didn't fit the trailer.
