1.) Though more in a gadgety sense but I always wondered how cool would it be to be telepathically linked to a warship in orbit around earth. Calling down phasers/lasers etc blasts on your enemies while you engage them one and one. Kind of like Storm or Thor calling down lightning but lasers! I can't help but imagine the clouds parting as a ray of energy lances Doomsday or a parademon.
2.) Straight Telekinesis not the crazy, I'm an omega bird thing. But I wave my hand and beat you with a backhoe until you stay down TK. Is it just me or do people with TK go crazy in power really quick.
3.) There's not enough Ray Palmer in comics, not just smart shrinking heroes but smart shrinking heroes that complain like old men.
What powers or archetypes would you like to see more of?
A superpower that's not often used but pretty cool.
What about Sandy Hawkins verison of the power dust has. I like it much better.
Backlash has pretty cool powers.
Gambit as well.
The Power of Flight is also very underrated, since nearly anyone can do it, much like the stealth.
Noh-Varr's body manipulation shtick (you guys no what I'm talking about)
Iron Fist.
@dh69: so not true, you just dont read enough western comics and like most americans, you speak before doing any research. a quick google search would have proven you wrong. hemorrhage debuted in 1994 in vampirella, a western comic and he has hemokinesis. purgatori from chaos comics (also from 94) has hemokinesis. dracula from sword of dracula (2004). and there are more out there sorcerers who can cast spells to control blood (jezebel for ex). i dont do anime so i dont know who did it first, but i know its a lie to say its never been done in western comics. put down the remote and pick up some comics bro. you anime boys always dismiss comics when they are far superior to that nonsense and often do similar tropes/storylines but "oh anime is so unique" meanwhile its been done in a comic in the 40s lol
Tangentially related to Blue Angel's comment on dust, granular shape-shifting. The T-3000 is my favorite example of this, not being a fluid being, but more of a congregation if many little structures.
Biokinesis
I'm especially surprised it isn't more prevalent in horror villains. The potential for body horror is vast
X-ray vision, anytime a character uses it I'm like "yeah that's dope" idk I just think it's really neat
Shadow Manipulating is pretty cool, the lesser type where you're able to control or immobilize your enemy by having contact with their shadow. Examples I have on the top of my head are Shikamaru from Naruto and an instance where Vampire Hunter D struck his enemy's shadow to shop him at his tracks. I don't know how common this power is though.
