Heres a summary

Thanos would need to output 42,000 tons of force to break the Tesseract if it was made from Carbon. Considering the Tesseract can handle enough energy to open wormholes and blow up a large military base, I'd say it is even more durable than Carbon. So Thanos could heft 120 million pounds, 10 million more than the weight of the Titanic. Link to Article.

But the Tesseract isn't made of Carbon, nor any material known to man, meaning it's impossible to know it's exact properties or resistance to physical force. In other words, this calc is meaningless for battle forum purposes and holds little weight.

The director could say it’s made of proto adamantium and it wouldn’t matter. This board only wants feats

Impressive calc, would be useful if it was actually made of carbon, but it isn't. Like usual, users will attack a strawman

I thought we already knew this. This is actually a low ball considering Thanos's true power.

So you think Thanos can effortlessly exert a force equal to/greater than 523,100,000,000 tonnes with one hand? Yeah sure.. that's not wank at all.

Him being capable of producing thing kind of force through the mere grip of his hand further solidifies the threat he is and makes him whooping Hulk casually and crushing visions vibranium forehead with his finer tips completely valid. Good find

Exactly. Strawman fallacy.

60,000 Tonner Thanos is not a huge stretch, *casual 60,000 Tonner is when things get questionable.
