I'm pretty sure I heard a story about a fan seeing either Black Panther or Infinity War 100 times too. There are just some fans out there like that, I guess. I think it's dumb to spend all that time and movie on a single movie but there are way worse ways of showing your support for something you like, so whatever.
What an absolute beg. He only did this because he saw that black guy who did it with Infinity War last year get an invitation to the Endgame premiere. I dont get these weirdos.
@green_tea: There are no objectively good movies..
He is not a fan, he is just a dude known for doing weird things to get into Guinness book of records. He probably choose Captain Marvel because of the Marvel Hype and he will become known globally
@green_tea: There is no such thing as objectively good/bad/mediocre movies.
@green_tea: And your opinion that it is mediocre is about as valid as my brothers who thought it was a good movie, top 10 Marvel movies. And many others who think the same.
The only movie you can argue for is objectively anything is Die Hard.
I was taught to never say this to anybody, but I gotta day it here.
That person needs to get a life. Seriously, I wouldn’t watch any movie 116 times in the movie theaters, at most 3 times.
@green_tea: Captain Marvel was great lol...
@amonfire1776: your tastes in movies is pitiful, Captain Marvel was your average run of the mill superhero origin movie
@aros001: You might want to edit your post.
@amonfire1776: Captain Marvel had some serious problems. Weak action set-pieces and not fully developing its protagonist. Her relationships with Mar-Vell, Starforce, and Maria were underdeveloped.

How come?
I mean, it's okay to have a different opinion towards a movie that had a polarized audience but seeing a movie a hundred times is ridiculous.

Time you enjoy wasting isn't wasted time.

What polarising audience. Almost everybody agree the movie is average Marvel movie? Polarising are movies like Man of Steel, BvS, Last Jedi, where a section thinks it is a Masterpiece while others think it is bad

Good thing that quote is completely irrelevant here. He only did this to break the record, he never said he enjoyed it nor that he would do anything like this again. He even said the film became boring so he focused on the lesser details like a calendar to make the movie somewhat more impressing.
So yeah, time wasted and he should get a life.
Well my favorite movies are The matrix, gladiator and The predator but i dont think i have watched them 100 times. Maybe 50 or so in many years of time. Watching a trash movie 100 times is mere sign of retardation and waste of money/time
People be cray-cray, but I doubt a fan watching the movie 100 times really pushed the needle towards passing the billion dollar mark.
