@theamazingspidey: Whether its true or not, I'm glad Snyder removed himself for personal reasons from the film during post production. I'm certain Joss Whedon's new take on the film brighten it up. Snyder was great with 300 and Watchmen but his vision of the DCEU is lacking a great deal.
Wow finally seeing live action Darkseid would've been cool but this sounds dumb this was doomed to fail no one could've saved it we got a sub par bland film oh well
Considering it's an anonymous post, there really isn't any amount of credibility to it. But with that said:
WW part, unfortunately I can see that as being true, since the blast is part of the trailers. Would it be any good... no, I think people would have walked if you started your JL movie with a repeat of the Senate bombing from BvS... people had a hard enough time with the rerun of Metropolis getting wrecked in BvS, they don't need to see another hero failing. (But in keeping with the theme of world wide depression, maybe Diana never showed up at all? Like London and Paris aren't a stones throw from one another.)
Akvavit Aquaman: I don't see the point of that tbh, is it because he doesn't know if he's land or sea? You didn't need to make Logan an alcoholic to get this kind of thing, nor was it needed with Superman. Though for some reason I do find it funny if Flash had to collect a massively drunk Arthur from somewhere and he just blurts out something like 'I love you man!' and then passes out.
Frankenborg: Wasn't he sad all the time anyways? Regardless the Frankenstein's monster comparison isn't without merit, because thats sort of what W/P were going for in NTT, that Vic felt like he had been turned into a monster and didn't fit in anywhere. (His saving grace in Raven picking him up for the NTT is sadly one of the things the New 52 left out, and Vic just mopes for several years before 'bing' he adjusts).
I Am Suicide: Thats not as far away from what we got in the movie. Bruce is already old, he said in BvS he's older than his father at this point, and in JL he admits that he can barely do Batman as he is right now. I did get the sense that getting the JL established and Superman back was going to be Bruce's parting piece, hence why he admits to Alfred that Superman was more human than himself, why he flies off to knock the tower down on his own and why we have that last 'glad I didn't miss this' line from the victory lineup.
Super Dark Man: Thats a rumour we have heard before, that Superman in his confused state seeks out Steppenwolf who almost manages to convert him, but when Superman catches a brief glimpse of Darkseid, he snaps back. And ofc it ties nicely into the deleted ending where we were supposed to see Steppenwolf be returned to Apokolips before getting destroyed by Darkseid.
It's fake, the black suit was only in for an Easter egg.
Fabian Wagner (cinematographer of JL) said they filmed a couple of scenes (plural) with the black suit, so I'm fairly sure it's more than an easter egg.
Just imagining Wonder Woman showing up all heroic only for Roose Bolton to blow the unholy shit out of all of those little girls, their mangled corpses decorating the streets of London. Exactly what I'm looking for when I go and watch a Justice League film.
It's very clear to me now that Snyder didn't give a rats ass on making a cinematic universe and just wanted to make "cool edgy" superhero movies which failed
