Marvel Iron Age Time Line & Map

This is the time line for the Marvel Iron Age. There is still room for improvement on this and it makes it easier to look up when and where things happened. Also is a map, also not set in stone but a nice guideline

Time Line Of The Iron Age

2012: The dawn of the Heroic Age

2017: Tony Stark & Reed Richards build a prototype armour for the San Francisco PD. This test unit becomes the inspiration for the Iron Army

2022: US army uses Sentinels covertly in Afghanistan. Death of Tony Stark.

2023: Iron soldiers begin rounding up super-villains

2025: Stark Industries acquires Roxxon and the Rand Corporation, rebrands themselves Ferrum Technology

2029: Ferrum Technology takes over Advanced Idea Mechanics. The ‘Bifrost Cannon’ is activated

2030: The April Incident at the Jean Grey School For Higher Learning. Mutants begin to be rounded up by the Iron Army

2031: The last sighting of the last 'super-villain', the Absorbing Man

2033: Spider-Man is revealed to be Peter Parker and is killed on television by Iron Army soldiers

2038: Economic crash of the European Union causes widespread panic. Latveria begins absorbing nearby countries some willingly and some not. Britain and Ireland begin open hostilities which turns into declarations of war

2040: The governments of Britain and Ireland are crippled. The people live in a state of lawless anarchy. Ferrum Technology accepts responsibility of the rebuilding and begins construction on the Great Sea Wall

2041: US invasions of Mexico and Canada begin

2043: The Great Sea Wall completed

2044: Canada is absorbed into the US adding 10 more states to the union. Death toll approx. 7 million

2049: Mexico is absorbed into the US adding 31 more states to the union. Death toll approx. 29 million

2050: The leader of the Iron Army is recognized as the eternal leader of the United States of America now comprised of 91 states. Many believe that the leader of the Iron Army was in control of at least the past 3 Presidential terms

2054: Most of the remaining eastern European nations join together and are considered states of the renamed New Latveria

2057: The remaining western European nations accept Iron Army rule

2075: Kashmir War resulting in India & Pakistan dropping nuclear devices on each other

2082: Chile & Argentina become one country The United Argentine Penninsula and accept Iron Army rule

2085: Peru-Ecuador War starts

2088: Peru-Ecuador war ends. Peruvador is the new country and also accept Iron Army rule

2099: Not much happened :)

2120: Zane Brooks born in New Latveria

2140: Iron Army detonate their stockpile of 20th Century nuclear warheads on Papua New Guinea to see if they work. The island is wiped from the face of the earth and the fallout cuts a swathe through the Australian population. Australia accepts Iron Army rule.

2150: Drastic rise in mutations in Australia

2156: General Falcon Helfitta born

2165: Iron Army warship The Black Knight is attacked by a 400ft mutant shark in the Arabian Sea, speculation that the nuclear fallout from PNG may have entered the water supply quashed

2173: Darius Stane born in New Latveria

2181: Daniel Warstar born in Arizona

2185: Indakistan emerges from the ashes and a hundred year exile after the Kashmir War. High levels of mutations

2200: Here we are

good job, I think there are a few details missing but I can't think of them at the moment but this is very helpful

not a big issue but the map is a bit difficult to read

Wow, i have seen comics with the header stating Iron Age but i was never sure what it had to do with the current major arcs going on. Are these in TPB or even hardcover? This sounds awesome

@joshmightbe@PrinceIMC All things can be changed it was just cut and pasted from page 18 of our PM so I can edit things and add stuff. The map is a tad hard to read, I did it via word paint but if anyone wants a bigger version I can email it you (And none of the countries name are set except for New Latveria, Guatamala, Australia, Peruvador & United Argentine Penninsular)

Ok we need to put the April incident before the super villain round up because the general consensus seems to be the mutant hunting started forst, and somewhere between the incident ans the last sighting of Absorbing Man we need to include Ultron's attack since it did lead to Ferrum gaining full control of America's defense

All things in this are pretty adaptable to change

When did that Ultron thing happen? And that Red Skull smashing? Erly on I guess. But a great world people, keep up the entertaining writings

Okay. I was just curious.

@TheCannon: PM me your email and I can send you the map I've got on my computer. It's kinda small here but if you want a bigger one I can send it along to you, it's pretty much the world as we know it but some border changes, some shaved coastlines due to global warming/nuclear explosions and some renamed countries

@batkevin74: I added a new area in the US which I referred to as the southern wastes, it stretches from the coast of south Carolina to slightly inside the Louisiana border

@joshmightbe: Sure, the actual details on the US are vague at best so I have no problems with a Southern Waste at all

@batkevin74: I needed a large relatively empty place where people wouldn't notice a lot of strange crap going on. Basically the area is the first of what will be a series of obstacles that keep them from rescuing Sam for the time being.
