The woman woke up to find herself in her bedroom. She stared at the ceiling above and slowly turned to face the other side of her queen size bed, staring into the distance.

She got up and went to the bathroom to wash her face and found herself looking at her features in the mirror. bloodshot eyes, shadowy bags beneath her eyes, a few wrinkles throughout her face, They did not bother her a bit.

She decided to head over to the room next to her bedroom, it had a set of bunk beds within it. There were also stuff toys and dolls that lay on the floor, untouched and messy. Dust was starting to gather up in the room.

She then headed downstairs to prepare herself breakfast but she was also cooking enough food for more people.

After eating her share, the woman decided to stay in her living room and sat down on the family sofa in front of the television set. She hesitantly reached out to her cellphone on the coffee table next to her and begun to type someone's phone number only to stop midway and returned it to its original position, knowing no one would answer at the other end.

She then reached out to a framed photo next to it. It wasn't taken that long ago. The woman was there in the photo, in the arms of a man standing next to her and with two young girls, barely 5 years old, standing at the other two sides of the woman and the man. They were at the beach that day.

She slowly went through the rest of the coffee table's contents and stopped for a moment to look at a dated newspaper. The headline read "Freak traffic accident: 10 people killed in several car cra-"

The woman stood up and threw the newspaper across the room. She stood there for a few moments, her head bowed and her hair covering her while she was breathing heavily and shaking uncontrollably before she finally sat down again.

She slowly placed the photo back on the coffee table and covered her face with her hands as the tears started to flow.
