Galahad sat in shocked silence as the television displayed a Greek police car flying through the air. He remembered stories his father told of the exploits of Hercules though he never was a fan of his father's stories of pagan gods. His mother was a Christian his father had converted mostly to keep the peace. This was a long time ago though when the old gods still had a bit of influence. He thought long about it and decided that the disappearance of the Grail and the emergence of the old hero couldn't be coincidental.

Yu wasn't shocked by the news, he'd seen too much to be surprised by anything, only he hadn't grown up with the myths he knew only the basics. He was curious but he still grieved nothing else seemed to matter. He spent his days trying to find a cure for his immortality he often thought if people knew the truth of it they wouldn't even consider it. He'd long since accomplished his goals and had nothing left to do.

Achilles was in Chinatown, some one had sent him to find a man the only description given was that he would appear young but in fact he was ancient. Achilles thought perhaps finally he might have a worthy challenge if he truly was an immortal like him. He didn't know who his employer was or why he'd sent this mission but that was his preferred method no trail to be found that way. He spent a few days searching till he heard a rumor of a man who ran an antique store. His name was Yu folks around here claimed that he had owned that store since the 20's but he didn't look a day over 25. That was all he needed to hear.

Hercules had been taken back to America to Jack's university he wasn't sure why at the time. He spent days being interviewed and the biology department took dna samples to try to uncover the nature of his abilities. He quickly learned the language. Every one in this nation seemed curious about him. Jack brought him a box full of the various movies and books he was featured in and even some comics. He found it all amusing. In his youth he'd quested for fame and glory now it seemed he was the most famous of all heroes though their was a rival for attention in the books of myths he was reading, Achilles. Upon learning of this man he got a copy of the Iliad to learn of him.
