It was late on the Teth, and the local hutt palace was brimming with activity. A group of hutt guards stood at the entrance helping escort in a new shipment of slaves. The captain of the slave ship was a well dressed Rodian, backed up by small group of other rodians. As the last of the slaves were unloaded, the rodian captian spoke to the head of the hutt guard, a ruffed up devaronian.
"The slaves, as promised my horned friend." The captain, stood with his hands behind his back. "Now if you would be so kind as to deliver my payment."
"Alright, you kept your end." the devaronian nodded at two masked gaurds, they grabbed a large chest and began moving it onto the slave ship. "Credits and Blasters as promised."
"Excellent. I hope to do business with you again." The captain, bowed and then turned towards his ship. Then a starship entered the atmosphere and was heading towards the palace at high speed. The captain noticed the ship, it reminded him of a ship he saw when visiting Coruscant once. It was a Eta-class shuttle, used by... "JEDI!"
"What?!" the devaronian looked to the sky, the jedi shuttle opened fire on the landing pad. The rodians and hutt guards all ducked for cover, some off them got blasted apart by the powerful plasma. "That's no jedi. Jedi wouldn't just open fire like that." The shuttle turned around and then out of nowhere it deployed a missile launcher on the underside, and fired on the slave ship destroying it.
"Target destroyed sir." A droid was sitting copilot in the shuttle, next to a man in silvery armor.
"Good. Now bring us in low, im going to start the ground assault." The man got out of the seat and made his way to the exit of the shuttle.
"Right away master, Krieger." The droid went back to piloting the ship, and guided it towards the ground.
The shuttle barely slowed as it just barely flew above the ground. Krieger leaped down and landed, he quickly ignited both of his light sabers and immediately cut down three hutt guards. Soon all of the guards and rodians opened fire on the intruder. Krieger easily deflected the blaster bolts, he then saw an opening and charged at a group of guards. They attempted to blast him, but he just cut down two more and used the force and choked out another. Krieger then threw his lightsabers and hit a larger guard, he began stopping blaster bolts with just his hands. Three rodians charged him with knives, Krieger blocked one attack with his gauntlet. He then punched the rodian and redirected the knife into it's chest. He grabbed the second rodian by the throat and he pinned the third rodian to the ground under his boot. Krieger used the rodian in his hand to block more blaster bolt, then stomped in the rodian on the ground's head. He reached out with the force and retrieved his sabers. Just then the shuttle passed by again and opened fire on the few remaining gaurds. Soon all that remained was the captain and the devaronian. Krieger advanced on them, the devaronian charged and the captain drew his vibroblade. Krieger side stepped the devaronian, and force pushed him away. He cut through the captain's blade and the scum fell to the ground.
"Please, let me live. I-I can pay you, and give you what ever you want." The rodian captain scrambled back against the wall. Krieger leveled his emerald blade inches from the captain's face.
"Nothing you offer can save you." In one motion Krieger spun and used his blue blade to slice the captian, and threw his green one into the again charging devaronian. As he retrieved his saber, the droid landed the shuttle and exited.
"Shall we proceed sir?" the droid walked towards the palace door, blaster in hand.
"Yes lets." Krieger followed the droid as it placed a thermal detonator on the door. It exploded and left a large hole in the door, they both entered the palace. The droid instantly blasted the three guards waiting for them inside. All of the slaved were huddled on the floor, Krieger cut the chains and the slaves began making their way out the door. One of them, a gungan, stayed behind.
"Meesa in yousaa debt kind sir. Please Allow meesa to join you in clearing this place of darkness." The gungan bowed.
"Rise gungan. I appretiate the offer, bu-"
"Don't worry, meesa use to bea warrior. Meesa can help you." The gungan was insistant.
"Fine, but just know things are gonna get dangerous." Krieger used the force to retrieve one of the guard's blaster and gave it to the gungan.
The made their way into the darkened halls of the palace. Every now and then a guard would appear and attempted to stop the trio, the gungan proved his worth early on by easily taking down three guard with one shot each. Krieger cut down two hug gamorrean guards, as they entered the inner chamber where the hutt lord, and many guards. The hutt spoke as the trio took their stances.
"The Mighty Chicho wishes to know why you have destroyed his guards, and freed his slave." the translator droid sparked to life.
"Im here to put an end to your rule in the nearby system. Your criminal empire has hurt many innocent people." Krieger raised his sabers.
"Chicho is amused by your words. However, must inform you that you will die." The droid just uttered the last word as Krieger's droid blasted it.
"Let us begin then." The droid opened fire.
"Meesa, like thisa one." the gungan chuckled.
The trio blasted and cut their way through the guards to get to Chicho. The gungan leaped into the air and then off the ceiling, landing in front of the hutt. Chicho said something in huttese that the gungan didn't understand.
"Yousa days of evil is donsa!" The gungan blasted the hutt multiple times and Krieger cut down the last guard.
"Excellent work." Krieger deactivated his sabers. He walked over and tapped some buttons on a nearby control panel.
"What are yousa doing?" the gungan walked behind Krieger.
"I'm overpowering the power cores. this palace is gonna blow sky high." Krieger tapped one last button and alarms began to blare. "That's it, lets go."
The trio ran out of the room and down the twisting halls, but this time Krieger stopped. He was sensing something powerful, but also dark and cold. Krieger bagn walking down a separate hall.
"Master?" the droid stopped and turned to Krieger, as did the gungan.
"Just go, I'll be right behind you." Krieger continued down the hall as his friend fled. He entered a room full of dust and old machines and treasure. Then a strong presence began pulling him towards the far corner, he walked over to the corner. He closed his eyes, and outstretched his hand following the power, he touched a small box. Krieger opened his eyes and examined it, it was old and covered in inscriptions. An explosion snapped him back to reality and he ran out of the room still clutching the box.
He made it out side the door as the palace exploded, Krieger flew forward and hit the ground hard and slid over the nearby cliff. He barely had time to grab the ledge, but the explosion had knocked his senses out a little bit. His hand slipped and he began to fall, but soon he felt something grab his hand and he was quickly yanked forward. Krieger looked up and saw his droid pulling up into his ship, they got back in and closed the bay door. Krieger stepped in to see the gungan in the pilot's seat.
"Thank you, my friend." Krieger sat in the copilots seat as his droid just stood there.
"No problem, I owe yousa remember?" the gungan laughed. "The names Sunja by the way."
"Well, thanks Sunja." Krieger removed his helmet and began examining the box again.
"Sir? is that what you found in the palace?" The droid peaked over his master's shoulder.
"Yes, it emitting a lot of energy too." Krieger began to focus on the box and eventually the top clicked open. He reached inside and found a red pyramid object.
"That Isa Holocron? Isa itsa Jedi?" The gungan looked over at the strange hologram.
"No, not jedi. Sith." Krieger placed the holocron back in the box.
"Thatsa some bad juju." the gungan shook his head.
"I know Sunja. But for now lets head to the nearest space port and refuel." Krieger, activated the copilot controls and assisted his new friend.
However as the trio leapt into lightspeed, another ship hidden from sight followed them.
