It was nighttime when they arrived back at the temple. Krieger helped escort the prisoner off the ship and handed him off to the temple guards. His master followed him out into the halls of the temple, and they started making their way to the jedi council's chamber. Krieger was walking slowly looking down at the ground. His master sensed that her apprentice was troubled by something.
"Whats bothering you my apprentice?" she slowed down and walked next to him. Krieger looked up at his master.
"Master, Do you think I'm really ready to become a jedi knight?" he was worried that he wasn't prepared of the duties required of a knight. He was also concerned that he wasn't skilled enough.
"Krieger, you are more then ready. You have shown great skill and determination." His master placed her hand on, her apprentice's shoulder. "You will make a great jedi knight."
Krieger smiled a bit, he was happy that after everything his master still believed in him. They had reached the master's chamber and when they entered all the jedi masters stood with their sabers ignited. Krieger stepped forward to the center off the room, and his master stayed outside. He kneeled before the jedi masters.
"You stand before the council ready to move further on your path as a jedi." An old jedi spoke in a deep voice.
"You have proven yourself worthy of the advancement." another spoke. Master Yoda stepped forward and wave his lightsaber over each shoulder.
"A Jedi Knight, you are now. Rise Krieger, accept your title." he deactivated his saber and the other masters did the same. Krieger stood up and faced the masters.
"I accept this honorable title, and you have my word that i will always work in favor of the jedi." he bowed and exited the room. His master was gone, and in her place stood a astromech droid. it beeped and booped at Krieger.
"What is it little droid?" he looked down at the droid when it turned around and projected a hologram of his master.
"Im sorry Krieger, but i thought it best to pursue Kranq on my own. I hope it'll give you time to rest and train some more." The hologram ended, Krieger was disappointed but took his masters advice.
He made his way out to the temple sparring arena, This time Qui Gon stood along side a little bit older boy. The two spotted Krieger and stopped him.
"I heard you gave Qui Gon quite the beating. Now I dont much mind people picking on younger jedi, even if it was Yoda's idea." The older boy smirked.
"Yeah Krieger, I bet you cant me and Dooku." Qui Gon laughed. The three boys moved out into the center of the arena.
"Alright why dont we find out. I need the training anyways." Krieger ignited his saber, Dooku and Qui Gon did the same.
"No holding back now." Dooku stepped forward.
"I wouldnt have it any other way." Krieger lunged at Dooku, but the older jedi blocked his attack. Qui Gon charged in and swung at Krieger, but the attack was blocked. Krieger stepped back and was barely able to counter attacks coming from both of his oppenents. He closed his eyes and focused, then all of sudden he lit up in a fury of attack. Dooku and Qui Gon could barely defend against the sudden barrage. Qui Gon eventually jump flipped back to catch his breath. Dooku however refused to retreat and instead stood his ground. Krieger and Dooku clashed and entered a saber lock. Qui Gon ran to help his friend but Krieger pushed away Dooku and sidestepped the attack. Krieger swung at the younger jedi but it got blocked by Dooku. Qui Gon readjusted and charged again. Krieger quickly entered another blade lock with Dooku, and out stretched his free hand and lifted the young jedi into the air. He forced Dooku away, deactivated his saber and lifted Dooku up as well. Krieger then slammed his two opponents into each other and slammed them to the ground. Dooku slowly got up and glared at Krieger.
"Your to strong to be just a padawan." Dooku used the force to retrieve his saber and charged his target. Krieger sidestepped and slammed his hilt into Dooku's back.
"I am no padawan. I am in fact a jedi knight." he deactivated his saber. "Now we are done here."
Krieger made his way to the temple gardens, leaving Qui Gon and Dooku out of breath and on the ground. He found a place near a tree and sat down cross legged. He closed his eyes and took a breath, he entered a deep meditation to think of what to do while waiting for either the next mission, or for his master to return. As he meditated he sensed something troubling a dark spot in the near future.
Author's note: now that Krieger is a knight i am going to be jumping forward now and then as his story starts to pick up. Sometimes just a few hours, sometimes up two a few years. But i will make sure to include flashbacks/memories if it is need. Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed.
