Fan-Fic Versus Tournament Round 2: Razzatazz vs Delphic

Who else is out there who reads, votes, cares and can make this either close or a white wash? @awesam: After careful consideration my vote goes to @delphic: for a beautiful story. Not that @razzatazz didn't have a good one also, the ending was a little off for me. I do enjoy these!

8 to 5...still close @delphic so look out @razzatazz three to tie, four for victory...you on the other hand kinda just need a vote of two to put it beyond all doubt

@awesam: I never interpreted it as you having quit, so the final round will be three people writing a story and all three taking votes?

Yep. Hopefully we can pull together a whole buncha' people to vote. second and first get the prize... thing and third gets nothing

@awesam: You should set up a point system, so people can vote for first and second. 2 point for a first place vote, 1 point for second 0 for third.

@razzatazz: Sounds good, I guess. Going to be hard keeping score on my though.

@awesam: @razzatazz: Why not make it simple and just vote for who you like? A point system would be complicated in my opinion.

Point system would be for the one compiling the votes. Just this way it could be that people could say their first and second favourite. The reason why to do it this way is the same reason for runoff elections.

@razzatazz: Understood..hm...It would help as we get barely enough votes for a 1V1 let alone a 3-way.

@pyrogram: There should be enough votes, pretty much everyone who frequents the fan fic board is voting.

@razzatazz: I'm glad the board is active again since the site switchover thing! It was dead for a while

@pyrogram: Yeah, it was dead. I was trying to get some life back with the contest, but it's not working so well. Fan-fic groups tend to bring stories.

@awesam: I think its worked fine now, we are getting a steady amount of fics this month.

If I know how to count, then we have a 7-7 tie at the moment and there's one hour left of voting. I'm on my phone, so I could be wrong. Could someone confirm?

@awesam: Okay by my counting, we have 6 votes for @delphic(which includes Razz voting for D) and 8 votes for @razzatazz (which includes D voting for Razz) so at the moment 8 to 6 in favour of Razzatazz!

@batkevin74: Razz and Del can't vote. Including my vote for Del, I see 7-7

@awesam: Didn't see your vote, so it's be 6 for Delphic (tommyhit, Josh, Gum, 4don, D & yourself) and 7 for Razz (Bumpy, Redq, Wildv, Pyro, T, me & some other scribbled user name I can't decipher). By my count it's 7 to 6 in favour of Razz (not including their votes for each other)

@awesam: For the grand finale of the three-way (he he he grow up!) Why not have four points per voter? I hear you go "wha?"

You can allocate you points one of two ways. Either 4 points to a single story or split it to 3 points for one and 1 point to the other.

So in the case of A Vs B Vs C. Voter 1 drops 4 points, Voter 2 splits, Voter 3 splits and Voter 4 splits. A gets 5 points, B gets 9 points and C 2 points. Just an idea, that may or may not work

@batkevin74: Yeah... no. Way too complicated. Razz's idea is good. Provides more options for voters and can either make the competition close, or one-sided. Yours would be a pain in the ass for me. Not a bad idea, just really unnecessary.

@razzatazz: No problem. i just usually identify users by their profile picture.

@awesam: Right I just changed mine today for the first time in five and half months.

@razzatazz: Doesn't matter when I do. It's always Darker than Black anyway.
