Deep below the Earth's surface...
Rocks.
THAT'S what his kingdom was. A huge pile of rocks.
Actually, that's not entirely true. There was also dirt. But that pretty much summed it up. He was king of dirt and rocks.
What a humiliating fate, he thought for himself, as he walked through his infinitely big kingdom. He, the Elven-King was once the ruler of Denmark. Now, he and his people, the elves and the wights, was exiled to live in this godforsaken place with no sky, as well as no woods by Nabu, that blasted mage. Sure, the most of them had lived in the hidden from the humans, but they still needed diversity. They needed to get above the ground now and then and live out their nature. What good is a bird, who cannot fly. What need is there for a neck, if he cannot play is enchanted instrument for foolish humans in order to lure them to their death? Being immortal is no blessing when you are a prisoner for life. He didn't even know how long they had been in this underground prison, since he had lost track after 200 years. The king sighed, and decided to go back to his palace.
If it wasn't for the fact that it was made by dwarfs, it would have been nothing but a pile of rock placed onto each-other. But thanks to the small ones skilled hand, it looked more or less like a home suitable for a royal. There were guards, plenty of them, which was mostly a question of appearance. As he entered his royal chamber he saw that someone had thrown his cape at his chair.
"Who dares to treat my home like it was his?" The king yelled angrily, but he was actually trilled over something happening. An execution had not found place since the trolls were stupid enough to try and overthrow him. The poor idiots were slaughted in less than a week, and the few that still lived now servedd as slaves, and had no longer any wish to oppose him. "Show yourself, maggot, and I promise you a quick death!" He yelled, as he held the green cape tightly in his hand.
"Give to Neron what is his, my son."
Where there one moment ago stood a proud king there was now a kneeling, humble elf who offered the cape to his guest. "A thousand apologies, my lord. You bless me with your presence."
"Kneeling is not suitable for a king, young one." Neron said, as he putted on his cape.
"All kings are merely worthless, when they are in the same room as the lord of chaos."
Neron laughed. "Oh, my dear friend. Stand up. We have MUCH to celebrate." A bottle with a red substance appeared on Neron's right hand. To glasses in his left.
"A great victory, my lord?" the Elven-King asked, as he took a glass.
"Not now, but soon." Neron said. "But right now, let's talk about your future, young king. I have decided to set you and your people free."
"... Free? MY LORD, I AM ETERNALLY GRATEFUL!!! But..." the joy faded from the Elven-King's face. "Is that, please forgive me for my blasted ignorance... even possible? Can you oppose the decision made by a lord of order?"
"My child." Neron placed a hand on the shoulder of the king. "To blazes with Nabu and his decisions! I'm starting a revolution. And you will take part of it."
"What do you want of my, my lord?"
"What do you think?" Neron grinned. "I want you to take back what is rightfully yours from the pitiful humans. Let Denmark remember who you and your people are, and then SLAY THEM!"
The Elven-King smiled as he yet again bowed. "It shall be done, lord of chaos."
