DC: The Beginning

Hello everyone!

The following will be a proposition to all of you to start up a new fan-fiction universe. We have had many before, some successful and others not that much. We have had ones with a twist and way simpler ones. What I am offering right now to all of you is something that probably has been done before(not to my knowing though).

This topic is both a proposition and a sign-up for everyone who feels interested in becoming part of this project. We will tell the story of the DC Universe from the very beginning. You decide the character you want to work on, you decide if you start with the origin of the hero or at a later point of his career. This will be a world building project, one that will lead some day to a crossover or an event of kinds. The only rule here is the basic from which we start: SUperman MUST be the first hero out there, beyond this we can shape this universe in any way we want.

This project allows us to choose a creative team of sorts. You will be the writers but you may choose an artist from the real life that you want to draw your book(e.g. Writer: Erik Petrov; Artist: Stefano Casselli). This is not something that you should definitely do, but if you feel like it and you want it to feel more realistic, feel free to do it.

As the person starting this I will be the chief executive of this mini project, but I will choose a team of editors that will help me while doing the world building.

TDK is writing Superman and Batman.

And the year that it all starts seems to be the present day. Although the JSA first formed in 1940.

Fic-O-Pedia: Groups: DC - The Beginning. It's nice to see a group on this forum again. :)

@ficopedia: Thank you for making the blog post/page for us. It is really nice to get recognition.

At the moment we are kind of stuck in the group because everyone has something to do in their personal life, but we will get it going again, soon.

@tdk_1997: can I do Suicide Squad or a Blue and Gold (Blue Beetle and Booster Gold)? The later would be more of an attempt by me of comedic relief and has some backstory to the pitch which is linked.

No problem. Groups get to a certain point, I give them a page, simple as that. Groups also end, so whether you continue or not, the page is here. :)

Is Green Lantern taken? I'd love to do that. I have a killer story.

Hi, Julie'. Welcome to CV! Unfortunately, there aren't any active groups here at the moment. BUT write ALL of the fan-fics that you want! I'd even say if you want to put "DC: The Beginning" on your titles, you can. Peeps have been known to dust off a group every now and again. No reaason that you can't do that too. Cheers. :)
