The Wolf Man
Overall I found this series by @spideyivydaredevilfan26 to be quite good, though I had to bargain & cajole to get him to vote in a comp, which he missed the deadline to put his vote in for, and in return I did this review for him! How this review came about, you don’t care you just want to know stuff right?
Excellent casting (see his casting page) and well written. Also it’s a damn sight better than the 2010 remake which is a waste of time watching! SIDF26 takes you on a journey, builds in the right places and make a genuinely good monster movie. There’s opening credits, closing credits, suggested score, a lot of work has been put into this
It’s a script! Its 16 chapters of script! Personally I like stories with “ands” and “thens”; a script is what I want when I’m shooting a film not sitting at home looking for a story. Scripts as I’ve said before don’t convey much in the way of atmosphere so even though the shot says: NIGHT, COLD, DORCHESTER 1912 that doesn’t compare to say “Even the stars were cold, as the wind from the North Sea blew across the town of Dorchester. Another freezing, dark night in the middle of England”
It’s a big read but I say read it! I dare you! If this was a film it’d be a solid 8 but as is (because this aint a film) I give it a 6!
