Would it be possible to either get a real volume number listed with each volume or at least have the initial year a volume started displayed when searching for volumes?

For example, when searching for Green Lantern, 7 volumes show up and it isn't easy to determine which one is which. An actual volume number or year started would make this much easier

@Darksbane: It can be changed. If you know the volume numbers add them. Simply put Green Lantern Vol. 2 as the title and so on.

@Darksbane: the solution to this problem is simple, just open all Green Lantern volumes in seperate tabs and then link them up in the volume description area, like has been done with something like the Runaways where each volume has links to the other volumes

So both of these options sound good, I figure I can do both as I'm going through and editing. I just want to make sure that if I start adding the volume number to the volume title like blackheart suggested that it would be OK since it doesn't look like many books currently follow this scheme.

@Darksbane: I did it with the Silver Surfer. I think it would be a good thing to do with every volume and make that the scheme.

the site rule is to go with what it says on the indicia, so there's no set ruling on adding Vol #'s or not...for example:

American Splendor has two separate volumes, the first says "American Splendor" on the indicia and the second says "American Splendor Vol. 2"

but

Unknown Soldier has four volumes and although I've never read two of them and I'm too lazy to go check the indicia of one of them right now, I know the fourth one only says "Unknown Soldier", so as long as you make a volume title what the indicia says, you're not breaking any rules
