@pikahyper: It's one of those comics where the main character has to assemble a team, and the process of assembly goes on for several issues
Main Picture Changing Thread
This topic is locked from further discussion.
@pikahyper: The original Valkyrie is still appearing in Thor comics right now, so I don't think the Exiles version should be the default anyway.
It has been brought to my attention that the Exiles version has not officially appeared in a comic and that the original is still actively being published so your image won't be made default. Images of alternate versions are generally not used as defaults.

Can you change the Main Picture for the Dimensioneer (https://comicvine.gamespot.com/dimensioneer/4005-36957/images/) to this?
Also, how do I add a new issue to the list of issues that this character of The Dimensioneer has appeared in? He appeared a long time ago in as a character in Big Bang Comics, but more recently, he has appeared in Artblazer Comics. It's been a while since I last added to the wiki here on ComicVine. I added several images of The Dimensioneer, today - but I want to make sure that I get them all located in the right places. Thanks for any help!

@charlesmosteller: done, you add characters to the individual issues, if the issues are missing you can add them on the parent volumes page, there is a button.

I appreciate it. Thanks!

So, for clarification's sake, if I want to add a comic book series by a different/new comic book company, do I create a new volume, or do I create a new series? I may end up needing to move those images that I uploaded recently, or deleting them and starting anew, but I just want to understand the core structure. I was just trying to get some images of The Dimensioneer character by Dan Reed on the site. They were published under Artblazer Comics. He said that he doesn't understand how to do it, himself, so I told him that I would try to help him with it. I hate bothering anybody with it, and I know that you guys and gals are here to help, but I want to do it right, and I want to be able to upload other comics stuff for him, here, going forward.
@charlesmosteller: Volume = comics, Series = TV
Can you change the Main photo/image for the Creator Dan Reed (https://comicvine.gamespot.com/dan-reed/4040-29192/images/) to this?
@charlesmosteller: images need to be added to the gallery before requesting.

It's already in the gallery of photos for Dan Reed. https://comicvine.gamespot.com/images/1300-6398613
Or is there a gallery separate form the one in the Creator/Person images area?
Also, I did notice that I was in error in one thing. Instead of The Dimensioneer, the volume should just be Dimensioneer. That would be this volume: https://comicvine.gamespot.com/the-dimensioneer/4050-110240/
You're always a great help, pikahyper! Thanks extra much!
@charlesmosteller: ok it was down towards the bottom, done.
Also official issue solicits get added to the main description box of the issue after it is created and the text needs to be in italics.

I hate having to ask for so much clarification, but what do you mean by official issue solicits? I just need to know for future additions that I post.
@charlesmosteller: the official text blurbs (solicits/solicitations) for the individual issues that I'm assuming you are getting off of Indy Planet, you added them to the decks when you were adding the issues, I deleted them because that field is rarely used for issues (when creating issues you just put a space in the field), once the issue is created you can then put the solicit in the main description box but they have to be in italics to denote they are official otherwise it is considered plagiarism and that can lead to being banned, text in the deck can't be in italics hence why it can't be used for solicits.

Roger that. and thanks! I copied those portions off of the IndyPlanet site, because I thought something needed to go there, and it is the creator of the comics in question, Dan Reed, who wanted me to try and add his Dimensioneer stuff onto the Comicvine site, since he didn't know how to do it and asked for help in getting it done. I'm just trying to get the basic stuff added, first. Not trying ti plagiarize anything nor to otherwise cause anyone any headaches.
I do appreciate the delete of those Dimensioneer images from the wrong folder. I have reuploaded them to the new, correct folder. I did inadvertently upload one image twice, so if you could delete one, that would be helpful. It is:

You're such a tremendous help, pikahyper! Another question, though - when I go to select the gender for one of the characters that Dan Reed created, Bette Half, the character is actually both male and female, because Victor Vargos ripped a couple apart right down the middle, and formed them back together as one character, one side being male and the other side being female. Should I just leave gender as unknown?
@charlesmosteller: yep unknown.

Can you make this image the main photo for Artblazer Xomics?
Not sure why it posted so big, here, when other images in this forum that I posted recently posted much smaller.
@charlesmosteller: that image won't look good as a default because of the height.

Understood. How about using this one for the Artblazer Xomics main photo, instead?
@charlesmosteller: done
The default image for the Justice League of America volume should be changed to #1's cover as I uploaded the variant cover as the main volume cover by accident.
