Indian Comics ?

Hello,

Was wondering if am I the only one from India here?

I wanted to submit Amar Chitra Katha, but if nobody else is there... then I would just manually add it to my local database.

Also, since ACK Media took over India Book House, do I add the publisher as the new one or the old one?

Confused :(

I think you should add those comics here, maybe some other member from India will be interested or from another country when they google it and find the information here in comicvine. It's best to share it with the world :D

And for the second question, I guess it should be the original publisher.

Nah, there are more indians here IIRC.
Yeah sure add it if it hasn't been added. I guess you could add both. Hopefully a moderator will answer that.

We have some Indian comics here. Example.
Both publishers can be added to the database, just go to the publishers page and click on Add New Publisher.

You mean torn covers? If you can't find better then I guess it is ok to use as long as you can't see the actual comic panels, if you can see panels try whitening them out in ms paint, photoshop, gimp or any other image editing program. Might be good to post the image in question here so we can make an informed decision though.

@fesak thanks for pointing that out. Would otherwise would have requested for creating page for that when I started scanning those comics. :-)

@pikahyper Thanks for your quick reply, will scan and upload the front cover here by tomorrow for your approval / suggestions.

Normally I search for comics that I have and just use them for re-reading on my iPad. But since can not find the ACK collection online, my only option is to scan the ones I have. Usually not of good quality since they are from my college days.
