Alternate Reality Characters?

What's the policy on creating pages for alternate reality characters? Specifically, I'd like to do some work on the Age of Apocalypse page, but I want to know what I should do about the characters. Do the AoA versions get their own pages, or are they included on the main character's page with a special heading?

As I understand, the site policy is one page per character.

I suggest you make a small entry to the characters main page. Or create the concept of Age of Apocalypse and make a section to list the most important ones and their differences from their 616 counterparts.

This is correct. Universes should be described on the main pages. The reason we do this is that it keeps the submissions system a little easier to swallow.
