after all these years of fighting, he never once invented his own move.
Is it weird that Goku has no original Techniques ?
@firestorm808: Not seeing in the OP where it's stated only specific media. But he did the same move to King Piccolo, just an Oozaru instead of a Dragon.
Goku has tons of original techniques he made by himself like:
- Kaioken finish
- Meteor Combination
- Feet Kamehameha
- Dragon Fist/Penetrate
- Instant Transmission Kamehameha
Gotcha bro!
@thegamemastershaun: 3 of those are just techniques from others he just used differently.
@seagod: Which of those 3 techniques?
@thegamemastershaun: Kaioken finish, Feet kamehameha, IT Kamehameha
@seagod: Those 3 techniques were all invented by Goku. Goku just decided to be creative and he invented them.
@thegamemastershaun: really?
Instant Transmission-Yardrat
Kamehameha-Roshi
Kaioken- King Kai
He just used techniques created by others and used them in a different way than the creator intentionally imagined. Except for the Kaioken finish which is basically Goku just using it to improve his speed and strength in a short burst like originally intended.
@seagod: You don't understand what I am saying, dude. I know the IT, Kaioken and Kamehameha were not invented by Goku what I am saying is that Goku invented new techniques using those 3 techniques he learned from others. You understand what I am saying?
@thegamemastershaun: I get what you are saying however they are not original techniques they are the same techniques just used differently.
Except Kaioken finish as Kaioken is a technique that boosts power. Unless you are saying that if Goku uses Kaioken and just walks then that is a new technique as it is the same concept.
@seagod: How come? So you're saying that variations of techniques are not considered original techniques?
@thegamemastershaun: I consider a original technique that is created as a standalone move. I mean if Goku didn't know the components then he wouldn't create his variant.
Original Techniques would be like Final Flash or Big Bang Attack. That being said a technique could still be original even if it does draw inspiration from other moves. A example being if Goku used his knowledge of the Kamehameha to create a new beam technique like say instead of being a blue energy wave it's orange and has a original name.
@seagod: Oh I get it now.
@jloneblackheart: ssj3 is not a technique
Well, he did have original techniques at the beginning of Dragon Ball, such as Rock, Scissors 'N' Paper, or The Saruken, but he no longer incorporates them into his fighting style.
@seagod: You don't understand what I am saying, dude. I know the IT, Kaioken and Kamehameha were not invented by Goku what I am saying is that Goku invented new techniques using those 3 techniques he learned from others. You understand what I am saying?
Those aren't new techniques. Those are the same technique, used in a different way or combo'd with another.
You don't take a chocolate ice cream and put it on top of a vanilla ice cream and then state you've created a new, original ice cream....
@seagod: How come? So you're saying that variations of techniques are not considered original techniques?
No lol.
