In this thread I'll be going a little in depth on the wish that Granola makes to the dragon, and why it in no way implies that Beerus is above everyone due to it (at least not above MUI Goku).
First, lets look at the scan in question and the actual words that were said:
Granola states his wish as wanting to be the most powerful warrior in the universe. Notice the wording in which he states that he wants to be the most powerful "warrior". Gods are not considered warriors in the manga and the distinction is always made between the two whenever the comparison is made. The dragon then restates Granola's wish (Something that everyone wish dragon does). He does not make his own comment regarding his power and the gods. He just reiterates the wish that Granola wants.
Granola: I wish to become the most powerful/greatest warrior in the universe.
Dragon: Ok, so you wish to become the greatest "life-form" apart from deities.
Granola: Yes
Another reason why this context makes sense is due to the fact that Granola was below the Kais before the wish was made. It would be a clear contradiction on the dragon's part if he was saying that he wouldn't be stronger than the gods.
Reason #2: If the wish was made in U11, then Granola would be above Jiren, which would make him above Belmod by default. This would go in line with the dragon restating that he wants to be the most powerful life-form instead of making him weaker than the gods.
Reason #3: UI Goku is superior to Beerus. We have multiple statements in regards to UI being above Beerus, as well as Beerus alluding to ot being above him. Moro Arc UI is also above Jiren and comparable in power to Merus (Angel Moro).
This explanation makes more sense and follows the narrative that has already been established. There is no imaginary retcon or Beerus's power as some keep stating. If he really was still a bar, then Whis wouldn't have given him a new one with a new ultimate goal.
