X-men Volume Clean-up

seems there is a lot of mess in the different x-men volumes, so here are a few things to do to make it better and cleaner (in my opinion):

-for this volume:

delete issues from #1 to #141 (but keep issue #-1), that's X-Men and not Uncanny X-men, even if the cover says otherwise. Those issue are already in the X-Men Volume.

it's Uncanny X-Men and not X-Men (and it's in the DB with Uncanny).

you should delete the newly added issue.

No, It was just a Change on the cover, the volume really changed name from issu #141.

X-Men or Uncanny X-Men ?The series was initially titled The X-Men from its inception in 1963 until 1981. The series added the adjective "Uncanny" to its cover treatment on an irregular basis beginning with issue #114 (Oct. 1978), and formally changed its title to The Uncanny X-Men with #142 (Feb. 1981).A new series titled simply X-Men launched in October 1991. From that point on, fans and historians began to designate pre-1981 issues as The X-Men Vol. 1 or, more commonly, The Uncanny X-Men. The article "The" was officially dropped from the title in 2002.

If its (as it says in the wiki thing) more common to call the first 1-141 issues "Uncanny" why bother changing it. The Marvel wikia and my old issues of Wizard just list the 1963-on books under Uncanny. Personally, I'd say merge the dupes into Uncanny X-Men since I've always thought of that as one on-going series, its a lot simpler especially considering some of those issues "not" Uncanny X-Men have the words "Uncanny X-Men" on the cover. Aside from that anyone that knows enough to distinguish between the two would know to look at the Uncanny volume if the X-Men 1963 volume weren't there.

That can be ok too.

It is in fact simpler to combine both volume into one Uncanny X-men (1963) and delete the X-men (1963).

but we could stick with the real volume names as well.

Anyway something must be done for those volumes.

I think the delete/combine pages forum has been neglected for a while now so I wouldn't hold my breath about anything getting changed. I'm sure the CapandLAMP have higher priority things to work on.
