I haven't been a fan of Damian from the get-go. I just didn't like the idea that "Batman had a son" and then as time went by I was like, "oh so they decided to keep him". Lol. I just thought he'd be another Jason Todd (who I'm actually much more fond of).
Would you care is DC killed off Damian Wayne?

O_O
I wouldn't mind killing him, we already have a cool Anti-Batman guy (Jason) XD
i knew i hated the kid after the scene in the first issue of battle for the cowl when he wet his pants and tried to talk killer croc out of eating him and based on the cover of batman and robin #1 they're making this cry baby punk kid robin....that's just retarded
"i knew i hated the kid after the scene in the first issue of battle for the cowl when he wet his pants and tried to talk killer croc out of eating him and based on the cover of batman and robin #1 they're making this cry baby punk kid robin....that's just retarded"to be fair he was bad written there, every time that Morrison writes him he is a boy that wants to prove himself worthy of being called the son of Batman and has the ways of the league of assasins taught to him from the beginning so he has a killing instinct that he can't control.
He is many ways a kid that was raised to be a villain but because of the legacy that he believes is rightfully his he is trying to become more like his father.
I like Damian and strongly believe that he has an almost unlimited potential that hasn't been used because he has had short appearances, now with his role as Robin he should have more time for character development.
I would CARE, but I wouldnt go whining "Bring Damian back!, bring him back! why did they kill him off?!" lol
Meh i don't really know, he's a little like Jason Todd, but not as cool IMO, we'll have to wait and see how he's written in the future as he hasn't had much time to shine, other than almost killing Tim.
I've never been a big fan of Damian Wayne. But Batman #666 showed me what he could be as an adult. That comic was straight up badass and so was Damian Wayne. So far in BFTC he's being written like some grade school retard as opposed to the League of Assassin trained killer he is. I'mma give him a chance. For now.
He!! yeah I would be pissed. Damian has some much potential to be some much more than he is. I think most people see him as a little Jason Todd, but the interesting thing is he is more League of Assassins vs one of Batman's orphans which I like some much more than just some new kid Bats took in and like G said 666 was a great issue and it showed a great impressure of how he could change.

I think he has massive potential of being a really great assassin. There is evidence of that in 666.

It gave a very different Batman.

"Wait. If Damien is going to be Robin, then who will Tim Drake be?Nightwing? lol
"
"OMG!? WTF!I dont know for sure. Its all just speculation. I hope not to be honest. I'd rather see a wildcard become Batman.
Then, Dick is going to be Batman, right?
"
Cliche literary plot #4523: Lead character has long-lost child.
Has it really come to this with Batman? I suppose with the exceptions of Dick, Jason, Tim, Stephanie, Barbara, and Cassandra he hasn't had enough kids in his life.
"i think he could turn out just like that if he came from them. Hes running around while she is off. he was practically a prince that got whatever he wanted probably. Probably never got in trouble. i could see that. he is alot like jason though"The idea of Talia raising him like that is silly, though.
I actually like Damian Wayne. My son is named Damian (by coincidence). He seems like the next choice for Robin once, someone becomes Batman. I doubt Tim will stay on as Robin for long.
Batman should have never spawned a son! it just goes against the integrity of Batman. I don't like him, he's just a pubescent sidekick and I've always hated that kind of sidekick... He's totally going to be the new Robin, but still I would rather they get rid of him as a casualty of the Battle for the Cowl story arc than keep seeing him pretending to be Batman's legitimate son!

Every time a challenging character comes to the comics, everyone's all "Kill him!"
Whatever, I'm giving Damian a chance. I like him.
If they do decide to try to kill him, I hope they fail and he becomes Jason's sidekick. That would be straight Awesome!
He should become a villain and Drake should return as Robin. then when Wayne comes back, Dick goes back to Nightwing, Bruce as Batman and Drake as Robin, nuff said.
No one likes a smart ass kid and the robin charachter can be either very hated or loved. People tend to gravitate to the corny, seriouse robin, with child like charm who does not make a fool of himself or cramps Bruce's style. They did not learn this with jason todd so now we have this dumbass, but atleast todd had a few redeemable qualities.
I'd be happy to see if Batman literally lost it if joker killed him. Mabye that would be the last straw for joker.......
YES!!! I would care. He's my favorite Robin! It used to be Dick Grayson, but then after reading a few issues with him in it, he's my favorite now. He has a little bit of Jason in him, but he's not "Jason all over again." I like him and do not want him to die.
