This is great! Very generous of you as well. I hope you receive a large number of entries. My only "problem" is for you. There are users on Comic Vine with multiple accounts who do things in other Forums that are less than honest. So I hope people will be honest here. Not trying to be a jerk or rain on your parade, but saying this to anyone who may enter. I support this 100%. Good luck and great idea!

Mine is off The Grudge TV movie from Japan. Holy crap that was scary. I highly recommend it. Its WAAAYYY scarier than the movie.

@DomDom: GOOD GOD!! I'm gonna have nightmares over that. Everything that is possibly creepy from crawling bugs to hands grabbing you out of nowhere and bats nipping at your head.

You may not do horror a lot, but damn if your not a natural when you give it a shot speedy :)

@payno: another example that shows your not just a great comic artist but also a great horror designer. VERY creepy :)

This would make a great B&W entry in the showcase. (would also kill in the horror category)

@nszerdy: woo hoo, everything cooperated and I managed to get this done before the end of the month :)

After a monstrously long rendering time (it took 22 hours just for the computer to draw it) this goes down as the second longest render I've ever made.

I wanted to try something different for me, which is to make some 'cute' horror. Something along the lines of Coraline or The Nightmare Before Christmas but I also wanted to use a character who I find very creepy, Medusa.

@M.S. Feather: oh man, how you manage to be so cute and still make it so creepy is pure magic :)

That reminds me of stuff I used to see back in the old PLOP! magazines. Very Very twistedly cool.
