I thought I had an idea of what it could be... but really I'm not sure at all.

I had my fingers crossed all day.  I hope that next week follows the same riddle format. This was fun,  I went through a couple of guesses before I figured it out this week and know a little more about comic book elixirs and serums through CV's wiki for the effort.
