Utlimatum #3, Who's Next?

Sheesh.  So many senseless deaths.

Why So Much Hate? I love this book, it keeps you in to the story and shocks you at every corner, I have been looking forword to this issue and really want to get it, I have #2 and loved it and I think I'll love this issue to :)

I just added another to this one rather than make another "Who's Next?" thread (since it's been less than 24 hours).  Also, this death wasn't in Ultimatum #3, it was in Ultimate Spidey.  If you've read #3, you know there's  more of these coming

Maybe they don't plan to save the day and are in the process of making a dystopian future, but doing it differently than normal, having it actually get there from normal comics instead of just dropping us into it and telling us how it happened. I don't see what else the point of killing everyone could be. 

I just wonder if everything is going to be magically turned back and everyone will be alive again.

Maybe I'm sick, or maybe its the fact that the Ultimate Universe isn't the 616, but I like all the death. In fact I want more. I cant wait to see who else buys it and how. The art is awesome, the story is okay, and the character deaths are whats driving this event. Anyone at anytime can get got. LOL love it.

It was a bit humorous seeing Blob chowing on Wasp (even though I don't recall any mention of him being a cannibal before) and I did like seeing what Hank did to him in return, it just seems like a waste of characters.  They could've done something with Ultimate Daredevil.  To have most of these characters die from drowning?  I just think that's a little lame.  Going out in a blaze of glory like Hank did, that's a little better.  Are we going to only have like 5 characters left in the Ultimate Universe?

Daredevil's DEAD!?!?! This is proof; Loeb has gone mad with power!

In Loeb's defense, it didn't even happen in Ultimatum.  It was in Ultimate Spidey.  He didn't even rate an appearance here (unless I missed it).  But if this is all Loeb's idea, maybe he asked Bendis to include the scene.

The first storyline is that you're going to find out who Spider-Man is. You're going to find out who the supporting cast is, and it will be different from who it was before Ultimatum. I can't give away too much because some people don't make it out of Ultimatum, sadly. No one's making it out of Jeph's book. But not everyone's making it out of my book. So with that will come the new status quo.

I completely see where your coming from. But I kinda like the fact that alot of characters died from drowning, its a lil more believable. You never see characters die from common type occurrences. And sure they could have used Daredevil for something more useful, but his death helps drive home the point that everyone is on the chopping block. I hope they kill Spiderman.

I don't know, i don't read ultimate spiderman, but if she's gone then yeah, i've lost hope.

neither have been seen during ultimatum so they're most likely still alive

or dead somewhere.
